Suichan talked about this too, in a Mario Kart stream if I recall correctly. But the inability to distinguish Left and Right, is mainly a girls thing, some guys can have this trouble but its relatively common on girls, out of my 5 closest female friends 2 have this issue. One solves it by wearing a wristband on her right wrist.

to be honest, i also dont know whats right and left till gradeschool.. but i manage to learn it when there's this teacher who teaches me personally(probably because i got lost) just look at your hands, which one is the one you uses alot, im right-handed so i uses right and now every time im confused i look at my hands and immediately knows which is which(as long as you know which hand you uses alot then its fine)

for any english person, remember, you can do an L with the left hand but it looks weird if you do it with the rigth, that or you could write in one of your finger the initial, i writed an "i" (im spanish) so the act of writing it and seeing it every day made me learn it, and when in doubt you can do as if you where gona write it, you normaly write with one hand in the other meaning its always the same
