How's the UV doing? Does it actually fill up all the way laying out that way? I'd think that it would only fill up halfway before it coming out the output. Looking good though! Love the scape. 🙌💯✌️

The pump is pretty strong so I hope! Just temporary until I get around to mounting it vertical. Appreciate it!

Turn off that UV and power load some pods in there for awhile. One pod can eat a bazillion Dino’s. Reef roids will grow micro algae. Check out Abe’s videos on dinoflagellates; I think there are many misconceptions about the zero phosphate / nitrate relationship to Dino’s. Im no expert, although after this long I should be already 😂😂😂

I did add a bunch of pods but don’t see any left may have added a bit too early. Definitely going to try and add more

@@whatthereef takes awhile for them to colonize, they eventually will even with what you’ve already put in there. My LFS has a home brew 3 species that i generally use after my mistake wrasse picks them all off. I think you tank is on track and you’re seeing is as expected. Don’t chase numbers , make slow changes! ✌️

Stressed tangs also can fake you out and show flukes that look like ich. I don’t treat flukes it’s usually from initial stress and should be handled by a healthy fish immune system. Many of theses fish pathogens are like herpes, there kinda always present but suppressed under normal conditions. Hope it’s not ich for ya brother 🙏

Yea that was a scare I thought I was gonna loose my tangs😭 They are fine now, only feed frozen with vitamins and garlic

@@whatthereef garlic works 💪. Fat tangs are rarely sick
