Quite simply the most astonishing super yacht I've ever had the pleasure of touring. This is superyacht as performance art. Rather than just building something with the most amount of rooms, the ethos of this superyacht was to build something that makes you go 'WOW' when you walk on board, and then does it again when the captain hits the throttles!

Goodness I agree. The decor looks like a turd floating in piss. Who picked these colors? Full of tiny cramped useless areas with nauseating irregular passageways and stairs everywhere. Like just buy a Palmer Johnson it'll do 28 knots all day long, and not at 2000 Liters per hour either! It'll do it looking a lot better too.

All the time i was watching the video i was wondering if the designer began by designing low end knocking-shops in the '70's. I would be ashamed to invite anyone onboard if I was "given" that boat. So many of these expensive boats seem to be designed with a lack of taste in mind, which is a pity.

Roberto , thanks for the TOUR ! ..... I was the build engineer for the first owner , just a couple of corrections , THUNDER achieved 42.9 Knots on sea trails [ not sure where the other 9 knots went.... ] Her fuel consumption more in the order of 2300 litres per hour at WOT 50% load. I would think if Jon Bannenberg could see the interior today , he would do back flips in his coffin .However , a very challenging build and meet all the owners objectives [ except for his fuel bill at the end of the first season ] I agree with you, incredible attention to detail , taste and style is a personal given right .

Creaking floors or walking / standing on steel hard surfaces all day? The creaking comes from allowing a bit of flex to make the flooring softer on your feet. That bit or artwork "brainwashing" wouldn't survive my first encounter with it partially asleep. All those different patterns on the walls would have me looking for a paint brush and bucket of paint. Oh, that's flat black bottom paint? Oh-well, at least the walls aren't an eyesore now.

I personally think it's tacky. It reminds me of the 70s. All it is missing is a hairy chested man with his shirt half way unbuttoned and about a half a dozen gold chains around his neck. Now the enginesis are something I would not mind having on my boat. I have a 30 meter boat and the only way that is getting up to over 30 knots is if it's being towed by a boat doing 30 knots. I did enjoy your video.

Great tour, Nick! The woodwork and surfaces are gorgeous! So cool that the tender fits into the pool! This boat is a work of art.

Wow! I just shared this video on my Facebook... One of the best you've done. It's one of those types of gorgeous boats that I'd be scared to touch or sit in... lol.. And it's definitely one of them that the inside seems much larger than the outside. Even with all of the décor and such on the inside, there's still plenty of room to veg out and relax... Certainly one of my favorites you've toured.

A one off and unique over the top boat. A palace like the Arabian Nights. I'm surprised you're not speechless with all the art the marble the woodwork. She is a work of art, all you need is a Hollywood or Bollywood film crew filming a blockbuster of a film. I'm gobsmacked.

I love how the boat keeps upping the ante. The Roberto Cavalli interior and silver and gold fleck paint were impressive but the real show stealer for me was that powerplant. I was wondering how a 164 foot boat could do 34 knots, did not expect the answer to be two 3000 HP engines and a gas turbine.

I can appreciate this as a one off piece of art, but the interior made me feel claustrophobic. I think it could do with some lightening up. The exterior is beautiful and the crew do a wonderful job of keeping it it shape. Great video Nick! Cheers!

Thanks Nick, a brilliant walkthrough as usual. I love the fact there are things out there like this; so over the top in every single way. If you have the money.....then exercise that obtuse sense of style. We would all do it if we could, in our own way. My only issue is that Roberto felt the need to put his emblem on almost literally everything in the guest spaces. It reminded me of Cat from Red Dwarf going round the ship spraying everything..."That's mine, this is mine, all this is mine!". As I say, Nick, great review, thank you. Roberto, you may just need to calm down the labelling a tad. Cheers.

I love boats and ships of every type. Yachts, commercial vessels, military ships, love them all. At least I thought I did. Between this and the Versace you've shown me that I don't in fact love them all. I'm actually repulsed by some of them. Thank you for the tour and the education.

All I can say is WOW !!! I’m brainwashed too. That truly epitomises luxury at the extreme. Just when I think I have seen the best, you show us this. The cabin panelling reminds me of Bagend from the hobbit, but on a boat 😀. Love the atrium, and the wheelhouse is so practical yet classy. The pool is incredible. I am in awe of this silver dream machine 😊. Silver & Gold flake !!!!! Monster engines and a jet turbine !! WOW, mind officially blown Nick 😊. I will however still stick to a Princess Y72 😉

The engines and performance are very impressive. Structurally it seems in great shape for a 22 year old build. Someone needs to rescue this poor ship from what the Italian designer did to it!

Lot's of people complaining about the extravagant interior. I'd say it's also not my taste, but on the other hand, if I had the money to buy stuff like this, I could see myself getting a bit extravagant in my interior design ideas. All of the yachts in this price range have expensive, high quality interior, but it's essentially the same for all of them, and having something so unique to myself can have a certain appeal, too. I would color my yacht in bright orange and other people would probably consider it an attack on the senses, but it would be special and mine alone. Thanks for the tour, Nick, the interior was really quite an adventure. 😉
