Honestly he was better in the first movie, in this he acts like Momoa not Arthur Curry, which is one of the many flaws the movie has. I liked it mind it, but not even close to the first.

It was overshadowed by Amber's court problems. Gave the marketing people too big of a side story to avoid, at the cost of promoting the movie...

@@igorschmidlapp6987 yeah thats pretty true but still most people should separate the actor and the real life drama and just enjoy the film itself, and when i wrote my review I said I kinda wanted more Amber (weird I know) but in the story near the 3rd act her Prescence should have been more active around that area but yeah I felt satisfied-ly sad seeing how the DCEU ended on a kinda high note

The ending is similar to Black Panther, you know that Wakanda reveals itself to the world instead of continuing to hide and they will help with the resources they have for the environment (I am very interested in that last one)

The Aquaman bilogy is among what’s best at the DCEU. It would have been amazing to watch an Aquaman 3 movie, in my opinion, whilst I think a director’s cut would be nice, as it’s the sequel to one of the best superhero movies that has been made up to date.

Seen it on opening day, it was enjoyable(6.5/10 in terms of story), the action scenes alongside the VFX, Jason Momoa, Yahya Abdul Mateen II, and Patrick Wilson carried. Other than that, its a movie you can watch on your spare time when you have nothing else to watch.

Please let this be Jason Mamoa's last outing as Aquaman... Yeah, he's a fun personality and is entertaining in the right role, but in my opinion he's never suited Aquaman. He just seems too much of a caricature of masculinity on screen to deliver the Aquaman character
