One thing I notice is that DC movies don’t do sidekicks. Mainly because, unless they know what they’re doing, they can be really annoying to write. Hence we’ve never had a Robin in a DCEU movie. Which is ashame because I would love to see sidekicks in movies. It be cool to see Robin, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash and yes, Aqualad in these movies.

Aqua man is still fighting crime. A lot of bad guys are ending up in jail prison even dead. His son haven't got his powers yet. He's only a baby. He's living on dry land just his dad and grandpa. Between missions and ruling an underwater kingdom Aquaman and his wife are stay on dry for a day or two.
