I wonder if there's an explanation for how different he's characterized in Superman TAS and Justice League/Unlimited He seems like an average superhero in TAS, but by JL his loyalties seem to purely be for Atlantis, and he looks and acts its like he wasn't even raised on the surface world.

As far as I know, he can perfectly control or communicate with marine life, but his telepathy is far more limited with anything else. I do remember him telepathically giving a human a seizure though, which is pretty fucken metal.

Esse novo Aquaman e um fraco. Ele teria conseguido estourar a outra algema fácil mas o roteirista queria um drama, e porque ele não chamou telepaticamente algum animal do fundo do mar para ajudar ele. E esse gancho e ridículo ele pode ser facilmente dominado por alguém mais forte puxando ele pelo braço.

He is descended from Poseidon the God of the Seas that controls currents and waves. So I think it was a good enough excuse given the historical background of the character.
