For that size pond the grow beds would have about equal volume so about 5000 gallons of growbed space. If you have very few fish you can reduce the amount of grow beds.

Depending on your fish concentration I've seen successful total grow bed volume triple the amount pond volume. I don't recommend it for beginners though. Things can go drastically wrong very quickly if you harvest too many plants too suddenly as they are playing an extremely critical role in filtering the waste from the fish and with the fish in such high concentrations you must keep that filtration going or the whole thing falls apart.

hallo.im majkl from croatia.i ve build a small aquaphonic system and i have one carp fish.the system is build very nice im proud of it.it works ok.im growing seeds in paper tishue,soil,mineral rochwool,im experementing with a lot of things.also with watering the seeds,soil,plants.i have cherry tomato and some other sorts of tomato,red,green,yellow,orange bell pepper,bhut jolokia,arigula,pickels and some other vegetables.but i have a sirious problem.the room temperature is near 15 celsius..it is the minimum i should have i know.its going to rise as the days go by.the soil im buying and i dont know if its nutrient sufishent,good or bad.the carp is a dirty fish i belive it gives me enough nutrients but the roots of the young plants dont reach the water jet.they all grow until 8-10 centimeters in height and then they start to die..what is the problem.i didnt want to invest in a mercury light and turn on the heat for that room to be warmer coz i dont have the money to waste.can you tell me whats seems to be the problem.do you have an idea.you can see my room system on facebook.facebook.com/zuljevic.majkl..give me an idea,i have a fish tank,the water flows into the pipe system and into another tank from witch a small pump pumps the water back to the carpfish.its pretty shity in croatia to find and buy all the things i need and the price is skyhigh.so a ph meter costs about 50 dollars and i earn per month 750 dollars.i want to live healthy and earn some cash so i can live without a debt.maybe have a family when im out of the debt.i hope its going to heappen before im 50 years old.i need concrete answer no big literature.if you know how then help me..please..thanks.
