It's sad that this game is so Underrated... It deserves a LOT more attention

This has to be one of the most creative and best boss sequences I've ever played.

One thing I never realized that in the 4th stage of the boss fight the shape the creator takes is Li (where you use the singing to stop the gems)

It's an underwater Metroidvania and it's pretty good stuff. The fantastic OST is a sweet bonus to what's already a very well-designed single-player combat RPG experience.

I wish I could only listen to the end part of the song.

If only they didn't give up on such masterpiece like this

Give up as in not making a Sequel when it obviously left room for it?
@SillyB_213 жыл бұрын
@xSayPleasex Yeah, the ending shows a possibility of a sequel, but the dev team had dropped this game to work on other entries, I would have seriously loved to play it, otherwise there was a fanmade sequel mode, yet even that wasn't finished, it seems like everyone had given up on this game

@@SillyB_21 Gotcha. Yes I feel the same way. Aquaria is such a unique game it's a shame it wouldn't continue. It released very early into the "indie" scene, I honestly think if it came out today it could've been huge like Celeste or Hollow knight. O well we can still cherish it 👍

@@xSayPleasex Yeah. Though one problem is that its a bit of a one-shot in terms of being re-playable. Unlike Celeste or Hollow Knight whose fighting/speed running skills you can always improve on the next run. You get one pearled experience, then its lost to the next wave. Its story was pretty open ended as well. I feel that they could of explored more of the ruin spelunking, and piercing together a history part of it. Like Dark Souls. They were going to improve on that front with the quest creating tool, but it never got the player-base it needed, or development support.
