I would say Labyrinth fish and Cichlids. There’s a huge variety of each and only your imagination could limit the possibilities. With more than 75 recognized species alone in the Betta genus and just about the same of other Labyrinth fish. I rages from 2-2,5 cm Liqurice couramies to 65 cm long Giant Gourami.

I've only just found your channel, but I'm already in love. I have a 40g guppy tank with blue pebbles and some ceramic decorations in it and after watching your channel its just not doing it for me anymore. about to scrap the whole thing and start over and get a new tank. Just know that you've inspired me to become a true hobbyist. Love the videos keep up the great work. (in the states btw)

If you decide to go planted, make sure to get a fertiliser, Idk how he does it but my plants don’t look as bright as his without it.

You look at these videos and you think it's all so easy to maintain aquariums, but it is not that easy. MD just makes it all look so easy.

I'd suggest you to connect the legs of the table down the end with another piece of wood, close to the bottom/wheels, over time and you pressuring over the table to type or rest your arms the wheels will start to make the legs start to separate and the whole thing could collapse. :D

as Ashutosh said, I think a vlog on what you feed your aquatic friends would be awesome, just in case you have some good tips and tricks that we can all use. My shrimp can be a bit picky, but i've finally cracked my bettas' diets. All good info!

Yes! More update videos would be great! To see what’s going on in the Buddha tank, Amazon tank, etc. Its nice just to see the fish and plants. Especially for those of us that have to vicariously enjoy the hobby through your great videos!

For the polystyrene, you could rub some glue on the surface and throw the sand on it. (maybe more of advice for the next tank though, at this point)

Me I like hanging out here in your studios and see whats going on. New set ups are educating and you show how to enjoy this hobby. You set a great example when following your own mind, your preferences, your take, your creativity - never mind trying to please others. Now, visiting the "old" tanks makes full cirkle - how did the plants do? How does different types of wood look when plants grow and waterflows change? Is lighting working? Did the fish get along? Any changes after a month/6 months/a year? If it didn't work - what happened and what did we learn? So... balance between both?

Hola MD, from Colombia South Am. When you redo the cichlid tank (we all KNOW you will LOL) prep the styrofoam for a top coat of silicone and sand. Just apply the silicone in a thin layer, and press the appropriate colored sand into it in a very uniform layer, top and edges only. Then when your fish dig and reveal.... even they wont know the difference !!

I love doing tank maintenance honestly. It's so satisfying to see the results. My tanks don't grow crazy tho b/c I have crypts, anubias, and bucephelandra mostly. My hydrophilia is getting a bit tall so I'm gonna trim it and trying to grow some emersed outside so I can have more to plant in and for a new tank. Oh and of course the frogbit is crazy on top with really long roots lol I love my wild river tank and my fish and shrimp (and million snails haha) all see very happy and healthy.

I'm so glad you listen to the advice the community unlike many other youtubers and people in general- and although I don't like the style of video that you produce and some of the stocking decisions you make, I think you are always headed in the right direction. You are a humble hobbyist I think everyone can relate to and I think that's very important as a content creator. keep going! also consider setting up a 60cm for nano gobies- if you have the water line down lower and set the flow higher with a lot of rock work possibly sticking out you can create a very realistic environment and a cool set up to watch- most common freshwater nano gobies will eat left overs/algae and algae wafers. they dont necessarily need a heater i dont think and they are usually really easy to keep.

The computer table looks a bit tippy with the coasters mounted in the center of the legs. You might get more stability if you mount the coasters to the outside edges of the legs.

Toothbrush is the only tool which can remove hair algae from roots (w/o taking them out first) and also from a moss growing on them.

Really nice tanks overall! How many fairy cichlids are there? Only one? As far as I know they should be kept in a group. There are some cool studies on its behaviour that show that older siblings help to raise the fry of their mother.

Hey MD! When you gonna show some love to snails! I know you have a lot of rams horns but I’d like to see your take on Pomacea Snails now that they’re legal again. You should do a little rack for showcasing snail species like your shrimp racks😁, I love my snails and I’m so glad I have certain tanks to show off various snail colonies. Keep up with the good work.
