More important than documenting would be book publishing. If these guys pass without printing a book/s first it will be a tragedy akin to loosing a library. The knowledge between Gary and Cory's ears is a world treasure!

I love going back and watching this video. I have just started my rainbow community tank and I forget how many rainbows are actually out there and I love Gary Lange's stories, knowledge, passion and love for these amazing fish.

I concur with the letter from the editor. This is one of the best fish room tours I've ever seen and is up there with the Eric Bodrock tour in my list of favorite tours on this channel.

I am so impressed and pleased with the equality of this video. The hard work and love is apparent. You are rapidly approaching being the gold standard of aquarium videos. The close ups of the various fish, the titled descriptions, the sound . . . everything is a notch above former videos. Congratulations! Not to mention the joy of being able to see a really in depth tour of Gary Lange's fish room with narration by the man himself. It will be hard to top this one! WOW! I put this video off for a while seeing it is over an hour long and wanted to give it my full attention. I have become a rainbow fish convert. I have seen them over the years but its their stories and especially the guys who are no longer in the wild that showed them in a new light for me. Garry Lange is amazing! Now I have an excuse to get a bigger tank and research a new series of fish. Thanks you all for the tours. You guys have helped me get back into this hobby a while back and I am deeper down the rabbit hole than I intended but am loving every minute. I will not put off watching videos any longer!

Take your focus off of the fish for a minute and realise how great of a guy Gary is. From watching this video I can tell it's more important to him that these fish get out to hobbyists and were not just collected to be hogged by himself. That's very respectable of you Gary. Also how cool would it be to pick the brain of a few of these older hobbyists. I'm sure they have so many experiences and stories to learn from. Great video Cory. These are the ones I really enjoy.

Watched this video 5 months ago,and again today. Did I miss Melanotaenia Australis? I inherited a 30 gallon tank with an elderly male,and it plunged me into the abiss of fishkeeping. ❤ Now a 90 gallon with 9 juveniles in a community tank,I'm excited to be learning constantly. Hopefully be able to breed them at some point,and add more rainbows as I go. I could listen to Gary speak on the subject all day long!

Love Gary Lange's rainbow! I keep on re-watching this... not only that, Gary Lange made me fall in love with Rainbows. Finally I have Praecox and Boesemani (I only wanted good quality, some fish stores here sells those fishes that are not looking good i.e. fishes are thin, and sickly).

This is a seriously fantastic video! I've been watching and rewatching it throughout the day, there's so much to learn! I really like the conversational tone of the fishroom tours you guys put out: and I feel that this was one of the best. Stand up job on the footage and audio captured guys, you really did Gary Lange justice. Very clear footage, audio, and vibrant colors the whole way through. Gary has some unbelievable fish, thats for sure. I'd love to get some of these into Canada!

Thanks for the vid. I was really skeptical when I read recommendation your for rainbowfish. When I was ready to add fish to my new 50 gal tank and started to stock it the neon dwarf rainbowfish were on sale. Again, I was skeptical but hey they were cheap so I bought 4 pairs. And now it's 4 months later, they tripled in size and oh boy are they beautiful. They're nice when the aquarium lights are on, but they're absolutely stunning when my lights were off and they flash me with their metallic blue sheen as they dart around reflecting the dim lights in my room.

Well look at that. I've collected Rainbows from the creeks around Brisbane and the Lockyer Valley in SE Queensland. Yes, wonderful fish. Have also collected Gudgeons too but I got rid of those cos they were very aggressive to the Rainbows. Gorgeous colours in the SE Queensland Rainbows. Have snorkelled in creeks and seen them swimming around in the wild too. They become quite prolific not long after it has flooded.

how did i ended up here XD? glad i did what a great man in his own right and passion and was a joy listening to them talk. i liked the one at 28:40 left upper screen the green/blue one, 28:44,35:27, 55:20, 58:29, props to the interviewer to keep such a good flow going all the way through and filming 60fps 1080p

Hi Ortiz, yes I remember who you are, you were with Eric most of the time. The camera I used for the close up shots were Canon M6 with a 28mm Macro Lens. The Interview camera Cory was using is a Panasonic WXF991 Camcorder.

I saw this video when it came out and now have a 55 planted tank with 6 nice rainbows. They really are coloring up nicely especially the turquoise! I was almost late to work today because of them.
