You would need to do A LOT of research before even getting a tegu. They have specific requirements, grow very large and need a varied diet. It's a lot to handle but to sufficient research before reaching any conclusion.

Get a above tank basking area, so that you can fill up your turtle tank all the way up and give your turtle more space. Also, replace the gravel with clean sand because your turtle can eat that when it gets smaller than your turtle’s head. Make sure you get double to triple the filtration for the size of your tank. Make sure your tank is clean. Remember the 10 gallons per inch of turtle shell. Have a nice day Paul and keep up the good work👍🏻

And yes he is inexperienced but he can still teach. I also follow other salt water hobbiest but learning from a wide variety of people is always good to have multiple angles

umm I don't mean to be that guy but you shouldn't learn anything from this guy please do your own research and those koi are either A. going to die from ammonia poisoning (koi and goldfish produce massive amounts of amonia.) or B. Going to outgrow the tank

I have that same tank, but I ended up taking the dock out and replacing it with a turtle tank topper which allows me to fill my tank up A LOT more. My turtles love it, I use a saltwater filter since the filter it came with didn't do enough. I have two male turtles in the same tank. My turtles love the tank I've had it for 2 years, I got them it on Christmas. They can swim a lot more and are more active. I also ended up taking the UV light out of the deep dome dual lamp at 2:22, I ended up taking one of those lights that you can clamp to the side of the tank and put the UV light in there so they can get it while swimming.

Saltwater tank! Found your channel when I was looking to inspiration to start my saltwater tank again. You almost made me want to do a freshwater tank, but I love saltwater too much to switch. I think you’d really like saltwater and I could see you with a cow fish because they remind me of your flower horn. Cow fish will squirt water when they see you because they want to get fed. They are like dogs. Please do a saltwater tank! Love the channel!

I bought the same one but in the 40 gallon size for $189.99. But the 20 gallon comes with rocks and like a $20 dollar filter and then the 40 gallon does not come with rocks but a $100 dollar filter
