One of things that made smooth jazz one the greatest music genre. Was the huge number of radio stations that support the genre back in the mid 80's until the early 2000s.
Undoubtedly this contributed enough to the development of the genre and its exponents and obviously the development of its many great super stars.
One of them is the pianist/composer/arranger Bobby Lyle. Who after his successful career as musical director of greatest artists like Anita Baker, George Benson, Al Jarreau, Phyillis Hyman, Bette Midler among others.
In the early 90's he made the smart and successful decision to form his own contemporary jazz band.
Seven (7) years later in 1997 for the debut of his fourth (4th) Atlantic Records CD entitled "Power Of Touch" I had the privileged to be part of the production and the live audience at the concert that produced the jazz channel. Which I proud present here on a unique and exclusive video of his group. Tuve el privilegio de ser parte de la producción y la audiencia en en vivo del concierto que hiciera el canal de jazz y que aqui les presento en un unico y exclusivo video de su grupo en donde hace su debut para la television la hoy dia famosa saxofonista de smooth jazz Mindi Abair.
