Back in 2005, way before Chuck Loeb become the 4th Fourplayer, I had a change to speak with him about the possibility of him to be the next guitar player for this famous jazz quartet. He had no idea about this could his next move as a jazz musician. Well, six years later, my prediction become a real fact . There he is....
Rarely you see Chuck Loeb playing along his with own band, specially now with his busy schedule as a "FOURPLAYER".
The following video is one of those rare and unique opportunities that I had as jazz lover and videographer. See him live at The Lansdowne Hotel & Resort in Leesberg, VA .
Playing one of his greatest hit ever "The Music Inside", accompanied by his stellar group of musicians, such himself on electric guitar.

I had the good fortune to hear see and meet him in NYC last year playing with Everette Harp and Jeff Lorber...He was so gracious and generous and I consider him the best of of the best !!

Still remember buying The Music Inside from Sam the Record Man here in town before the store went the way of the Dodo. When music was still music, and CDs were still the platform to be. Bought this, went next door to KFC to get some chow and listen to it on my portable CD player, lol. That CD player ate up batteries like nobody's business. I don't think I got through the whole CD without having to change batteries. But anyway, this song and this album is one of my favourite Chuck's work if not one of the best (smooth) Jazz CDs of all time.

A gift of a recording. Pity the cameraman couldn't do justice to the keyboard player. He was comping his talented heart out.

Loeb is my favorite guitar player, Who is the keyboard player?, he is very good. Excellent band.

Masterpiece song. But I hate the way the keyboard player’s comping gets in the way of chuck’s solo frequencies. He also gives away a part of the theme in the introduction. Very unfortunate.
