Cool build. That 6.5 Grendel is a sweet round. I decided to get a 300 BLK upper to go along with my 5.56 carbine. I wanted something with a bit more knockdown power than the .223 for deer/hogs but something that my kids would be able to shoot more comfortably than my .308, and might even pick up a supressor for it since there are more subsonic loads for it. I'll set it up for 100 yards or so max range.

I built a pistol 300 BO and run it suppressed and love it! I am excited for this grendel. My only concern is ammo availability for it is pretty bad!

@@ZManOutdoors How would you say the recoil is with the 300 compared to 5.56/.223? Mine is a 16" with carbine gas system. I'm guessing the subsonic loads would probably have less recoil.

Yeah honestly it’s not bad at all, I have only shot it suppressed too so that really helps. Mine is pistol length so it probably would have much less if you are going with a longer barrel too. But I hardly noticed the recoil

Good build video. But as an avid 6.5 Grendel shooter and reloader... Your "Six and a half" Grendel terminology is driving me nuts!
