Hiiii I own the original Madawi but didn't care for the gold, it didn't excite me, I thought it would be an improvement. Thanx ❤😊 Never buy them full price they are ALWAYZ 50% off at least in there shops here in Doha.

I really enjoy this house. I find they play with accords so well, very unique. I personally own Madawi OG, Resala, Bella, and Kalemat. I do need to add Madawi Gold 40 anniversary to my collection. I did get a sample and really like it ❤. They do use traditional ME DNAs, but takes them to a new level, the quality in their blends and through the wear is there for sure. ❤ Spirit of Dubai is another house (not affordable) but serious in the craft. Nabeel is a part of this house and have some unique scents. More affordable stuff. My very 1st ME fragrances were Nbeel Touch Me, and Nasaem dating back to 1978. They are still in my collection and always will be. 😊 Glad you covered this house, true class in their fragrance blends. Thanx Cee 😊❤

@debbietaylor9241 I love it 😀 it is a sweet fragrance that opens with sweet cranberries and strawberries, with a beautiful Jasmine and easy Patch mid followed by a Vanilla musk base. It's young and womanly but you need to like sweeter fragrances.

@@DDH64812 Oh thank you! I love sweet fragrances and I’ve been really interested in this house but where I live, they’re an expensive blind buy. I’m experimenting with jasmine -I’m more a rose fan, but with the cranberry/strawberry it sounds lovely. I own Oud Bouquet which I find is not the beast mode I’d been led to believe. I’ve always been curious about Resala because of this.

My boyfriend had AO Kalemat, such a nice berry fruity amber. They have a shop in Paris Champ elysee. We also indulged there and bought some oils and Oud. Very high quality products.

I watched a video earlier from 'the nice smelling gentleman' and he spoke about how niche and designer companies are coming after creators over "clones/dupes." Is this true? Hope you and Adwoa are unaffected 🙏🏿.

Yes, this is true but they are coming after Perfume houses that are copying the shape of the designer bottles. They are not concerned about the perfumes as no one has a copyright of the notes of the perfume itself, A very popular fragrance house has been sued and asked to change the design of their bottles. Rest assured that the clones will not be affected although the frag reviewers will be better off of they chose another word rather than using the word'clone'

Yes it’s true, but a tricky one all round. The concern is on the bottles that blatantly copy everything otherwise little to nothing can be done about the scents as no one can copyright a smell.. it’s equivalent to one claiming they have the right to the smell of chicken etc 🤣 Duping is a touchy subject and falls under fair use policy. It affects just about every other thing ever created or manufactured..examples are; Generic medicines Car models Fashion Food brands to name a few Why would Bentley worry about the sales of Toyota.. those who can splurge on Bentley obviously have the taste for that and vice versa….they should let people be. For some of us the aim is to be able to move from point A to B 🥰

The question is what is masculin? 1000years ago kings smelled like all what is now a days Sold as a female scent? Kings smelled like a woman of today in the streets 🎉

This is why most companies are shifting from stereotyping scents. You simply wear what you love.. having said that masculine scents (though not all)…are typically woody, cologney, use a smoky Vertiver and utilize heavy weight notes like leather, tobacco etc.
