A.J is successful on a number of levels. I hope it does not matter to her if she has more recognition than she has now. There are 10's of millions of fans that recognise, appreciate and love her. Then there is her family, just amazing. It also seems she is financially secure. My only wish is that she continues to get the satisfaction and reward(emotional) that she thrives on and that we continue to benefit from being part of her journey ❤❤❤

Angelina does what Angelina wants to do. Nobody makes her do anything she doesn't want to. Its all her, she did it before a label, Republic is honored to have her and I think there are many in that industry that want to protect her and let Angelina be Angelina. Theres something greater to fear than the industry, and its a day to which I wont even speak of. But I have warned many about this. Angelina has many aces, dozens probably, up her sleeves and she has always stated how much older she feels and her mentality, compassion and emotional depth reflect this. She is a very smart and humble girl BUT she knows who she is and what she's got and will play her hand with wisdom and style. The girl will have her fun, lucky she has a level of class not seen in a lot of people today as you will see in later videos she has stayed very humble and focused yet interacts with the audience constantly.

Angelina is surrounded by her very loving and protective family whom had the opportunity to sign her to several different record labels following her A.G.T. performances. Unlike so many greedy and selfish parents of talented children that would jump at the chance to sign their child to a contract, Angelina’s family turned down all offers because they were wise enough to want Angelina to have a proper childhood that included finishing her schooling. The vast majority of us devoted fans want and pray that Angelina be protected from the dark and seedy side of the industry.

My wish is that she can always sing for herself and my hope is that she continues to share with us 🙏. This song helped me through a great loss and I appreciate that. Thanks for the great reaction

She's been famous since she was 7 years old. She's an veteran in showbiz. And her family take care of her or vise versa. Her second golden buzzer mum Heidi Klum has always an eye on her. 👍 Don't worry. She has her angels surrounded by her as always. 👍

All performers change and grow over time, it will be the same with Angelina. She is currently in Retro Pop but it isn't the only style she has done.

Your analysis could not be more accurate, surely in the 70-80 she would already be a world figure. Now, in this absurd period that we have had to live in, with a musical taste that is conspicuous by its absence, talent is not the most important thing to reach the top. But let's not throw in the towel, her talent is so amazing and her voice so beautiful, that she only needs one hit to be known worldwide and fill stadiums.

Word of mouth is Far Far more powerful than any magazine etc. especially with the power and depth of response for those people who hear Angelina singing. I believe she set her goals long before incarnating in this life and that there are hundreds if not thousands of souls who have timed and orchestrated their lives to be part of her success and support in the biggest most healthful and uniquely Angelina way possible. If Angelina, as I believe she has said, has the main goal to bring the pure joy to the world that she feels when she connects with he music space, then that in itself is the guide that will keep her both on her unique path and on a path that is wholesome and fulfilling for her and for everyone who works with her. Wow - fantastic reaction & appreciation of this original song from Angelina (her 1st release with Republic Records) - at age 14! I believe that the strong feelings & worry that you express over Angelina's future are shared by most of her fan base. I feel immense pride in her accomplishments - quite similar to the feelings I have for my own children & grandchildren. This particular song was written by Angelina in honor of her late grandfather. After losing my wife some years ago, I listen to this song everyday. And while it brings me to tears, afterwards I feel an incredible sense of comfort & relief. And as emotional as this studio version is, I believe her live performance - "Angelina Jordan - Million Miles - Live at Kongsberg" (at age 16) is even more powerful. You raise an interesting point ... her latest song, first release from her new album, indicates that she is indeed staying true to herself, and I think the song is doing well.... we'll see - I cannot see her making a change that would compromise her artistic integrity though. And by the way, she slowed this song down a lot for her live performances in Norway last July to incredible effect... this is a song that grew on me over many listens and I now think it's a masterpiece

I'm thinking that if one of her singles off the EP or album doesn't go viral this year, then when (OK, if, but I'm pretty confident she'll get it) she wins Best New Artist next Jan 30 2024 at the Grammys, her career will take off then, due to the industry recognition and the weight winning a Grammy carries. I agree that she will stay true to herself, grounded, a beautiful human being, but I also believe she is SO versatile that she can branch off in many directions and appeal to somewhat varied audiences, while not selling out to a lowest common denominator.

Dear Arab Man, We all pray that she stays true to herself. She is 17 and is writing and arranging new songs for the world. Will they be different than those songs of the past? It is likely they will be even better, but for now, she still helps Grandma Mery into the car at the beginning of her latest song, Love Don't Let Me Go, and she still sings the song barefoot. What singer does that? Those around her are there to help her follow her path to success. If the angels stay around her and guide her pure intentions, I don't see her selling out to fame and fortune. I trust she will let her inner light guide her. What a joy to behold and hold dear, as everything centered on love and caring is.

Angelina has always come across as a person with a lot of common sense, her family has been really great at guiding her. She is really close with her Iranian grandmother who is a big influence on her and her career, so I think she will be okay.

Angelina being true to herself, I hope and am confident, will always be her top priority. The "X factor" is how she makes the listener FEEL. Her angels should not be touting her as the best singer in the world, since "best" is subjective to each listener. We only need to introduce her to more people and educate them about her love and empathy for her fellow humans. Angelina's vocals, for me, are unlike any other I have ever heard, but each person needs to take their own Angelina journey. I have to believe there are many big names in the music and entertainment industry, like Heidi Klum and RedOne, who will play a big role in introducing Angelina to a wider audience. e pluribus u-num With all the gimmicks that are used in what is known as music today it is so refreshing to come across a being that does not need auto tune, lightshows, dancers, outrageous costumes, bands, or orchestras to cover their weaknesses because she has none. AJ can perform a Capella, or with one or two instruments to follow her lead and give you chills with each performance. I have always enjoyed all genres of music, and being 75, I have experienced the best the industry has to offer, from the early 50s, to 2023, but I have never been moved emotionally in the past anywhere close to what Angelina Jordan does from 7 to 17. When I heard Celine Dion perform in a tint in Québec when she was a child, I predicted she would be the next world superstar, and the rest is history. Celine did not sign a record contract until she was in her early 20s. David Foster, who made Celine a star flew to Norway after Angelina wone NGT and tried to sign her, but her family wanted to stay in control of her future. Angelina, at 13, appeared on AGT and getting worldwide recognition signed with the largest record company in the world at age 14, Republic Records. The story is that Monty Lipman, the CEO, and known as the Star Maker, personally signed her even without meeting AJ, he was shown a video of her performance. Que Sera There is an Italian phrase that sums up what lies ahead for Angelina Jordan, "Que Sera" (What will be.). AJ is not like the Boy Bands created by Simon who fizzle out as quickly as they appear, she is gifted unlike any other vocalist, her ability to hypnotize us and have us hang on every wonderful word, or phase is genius to say the least. Her genius goes far beyond jazz to encompass all popular genres, I can foresee her having hit songs in 3, or 4 genres at the same time.

Much of her early inspiration and motivation came from listening music on KZfaq and watching that wretched talent show. So before KZfaq, AJ simply might not have happened. Its hard to break through. But we've seen much progress with her latest song. Its her first that charted in the US and UK in the top 50. And her numbers on Spotify - now that she's finally releasing more content there - they show organic growth. And those new ppl seem to be locked in for good (as it always worked with her), its not just a dip. Thats something you cant weight in gold. And keep in mind - Republic Records have hardly moved a finger yet to push her.

I like your projection of the timeline for Angelina, but the not knowing is what makes life interesting. Angelina, to me, is unlike any artist I have seen in that she has the compelling back story and the voice of a Siren (in the mythical sense). Angelina has a strong family that supports her - and when she signed with Republic Records in 2020 at age 14 - the contract stipulated that she be allowed to finish school and also retain control of her music. She has collaborated with some of the best producers in the industry including Rob Christie, Director of the Republic Records LA Studio, RedOne one of the biggest producers in Europe who co-wrote Bad Romance with Lady Gaga and who also invited Angelina to perform with him at the 2022 FIFA award - Angelina will also be performing during the 2026 World Cup which will be held in North America, and Stargate who has worked with Beyonce and Sam Smith have great words to say about Angelina. They all respect Angelina and her judgment when it comes to music.

Angelina is simply the best singer I’ve ever heard, but I have thought for several years that she won’t ever be on top of the music charts. To sell to a mass audience, you have to appeal to the lowest common musical denominator-or maybe you have to promote (debase?) yourself a la Miley or Britney or Justin. That won’t happen with Angelina. When AJ signed with Republic Records, we worried that they would try to change things to make her commercially viable, but you can see from this simply shot, classy video that AJ and Republic understand who she is. Everything that’s come out is beautiful musically, artistically, vocally, and visually. Mass audiences are looking for the latest trend or sound. Angelina will be more like Norah Jones or Amy-a unique talent with incredibly diehard followers, but not the fan base buying the flavor of the day.

Yes, Angelina is tall. "You ARE music", one of the judges told her when she was 7. And here you have it: over 6 feet of music... which for a woman is actually very tall. And this song is so, so wonderful. As you, I really hope that Angelina is able to make the music she loves and she believes in when she is full time musician/singer. It's amazing how quickly you've joined the rest of us, very protective of our Angelina. We're all very concerned that the industry doesn't do to her what it has done to so many young artists before her. Miley Cyrus is the perfect foil for AJ. I think that's what AJ's latest original, "Love Don't Let Me Go," is about -- the understanding that she will have to struggle to maintain stability with all the temptations of Hollywood and fame on the horizon. Since 7, AJ has been a superstar in her native country. She's had to deal with the trappings of fame, fortunately as a big fish in a relatively small pond. Now she's in L.A. and about to release an album and start touring. Miley went ultra-provocative to remake her image. It's going to be fascinating to see if AJ can maintain her persona as she maneuvers through her career. My hope is that she wants diehard fans and not fickle fans who are as much interested in her personal life as they are in her talent. That being said, you'll find that she is very conscious of her extraordinary beauty as well as her extraordinary musical ability. That's a killer combination. Remember that Heidi Klum is as much an influence on AJ right now than anyone outside her grandmother -- and who could imagine two more different people (at least superficially) than Heidi and Mery?

I have a feeling Angelina will be big Worldwide, with a strong, loyal fanbase of music aficionados, but not the popularity of some of the biggest stars today, because the general music public is is not very sophisticated. It sounds crazy, but I think she is too good for the masses. She will have a long, amazing career & will be the subject of documentaries & analysis in music schools, but I doubt she will reach the numbers of some rappers today. Like you, I worry about her, but then my worries about her in the past have proved to be unfounded so I hope this is the same.

I think your thoughts on what it takes today for an artist to break through to the masses is very true, for 99.9% of the artists out there. I believe Angelina to be the rare artist that has the ability to change the rules. Like in your example of you walking down the street and you hear her beautiful voice and you are immediately drawn to her. It's not just the quality but all the emotion embedded in her songs that attracts the listener. The feeling that she is singing to you personally is the attraction. I think that if Angelina receives the proper exposure she will do just fine. I have no idea what Republic has in mind for Angie for promotion but she and her family will have the final say. Angie has already done two major events this year, the FIFA awards event and GNTM with Heidi Klum. Yes the FIFA deal was a bit of a mess with audio issues but Angie was a total pro and did her part extremely well. The GNTM event was great. Of course the focus was to be the models parading around but Angelina was the true star of that particular segment and she performed her very best versions of Valerie and Love on The Brain that I have yet heard. In one of your previous reactions to Angie I had mentioned Enrico Caruso and how he was able to express emotions in the same manner as she does and you said you would check him out. Ok, he was an operatic tenor so I hope that doesn't turn you off but you can still hear the emotive quality in his singing. Thank you for this reaction video and your observations. Angelina has a very strong family and fan support. From a very young age she did it her way and there are no signs that she will alter her course. As for Miley Cyrus, she is very misunderstood. All the antics that she did were not intended to bring her fame rather were to free herself from the Disney contract. She was under a long term contract under her birth name Destiny Hope Cyrus taking the persona of Hanna Montana. She became very exhausted and hated the role. She claimed that coffee was shoved in her mouth every morning to keep her going. She had so many artistic visions that she was not able to fulfill under the Disney label. She legally changed her name to Miley. She put out some controversial videos and posed topless. She even leaked a video of her appearing to be using drugs. This worked for her as Disney quickly dropped her. Now she is back on track and putting out music that reflect who she is as an artist. Thanks to her family support and guidance, especially from her Godmother Dolly Parton. Angelina was not signed to a label as a very young child in order to protect her artistic integrity. She has been charting her way into fame the way she sees it with super work ethics, humility, class, and appreciation of the love and support that she gets. This was my favourite AJ track indeed in my top 3 all time but that changed and was relegated...by her live version last year 22 in Norway. If you hear her new track your fears will be eroded as she has gone to No 1 in various charts and that self penned track ( I believe is a follow up to this one, but a message from her Grandmother to her Grandfather unlike this one which is AJ's to her Grandfather ) is simply a Masterpiece. Great reaction and commentary as usual. She won't have a problem to break through, she has her beauty and height by the way she is over 6 feet. Also one of the greats David Foster has also seen her and heard her perform as he played the piano for her. Not an issue for breakthrough. Her family will know when it is time for her and she will too.

I used to be concerned that the industry would eat her up too. Then I read a comment where she sings from a perspective of love, caring, empathy. I believe that’s where her journey will take her. It seems that sharing and promoting those qualities are more important to her than recognition.

Fear not. You simply need exposure to many more of her performances, which will include multiple genre' and vocal tones to reassure yourself that she really does 'know what she's doing', even as such a youth. I think in a sense your fears are well-founded but I would frame it this way. Angelina has clearly been blessed by God with a high musical IQ, a magnificent vocal instrument, the drive and skills to develop and hone her craft, a nearly supermodel-like beauty and height, and most importantly a humility and human-ness that connects to people. What she has never shown a willingness to do is to augment (for popularity sake) her "brand" by either being physically revealing in costume or action or to choose to perform poppy "bubble-gum" songs. Her artistry is, in a very real sense, demanding of her listeners. The zeal of the culture (and possibly her label but I hope not) to push her away from these wise stances is the danger. That is worthy of our prayers as we support her in other ways also.

a lot will depend of how republic records is gonna support her, push her, promote her, didnt see much of that whit her new single : fans like myself mailed radiostations to get her single on air, but radiostations are pushed by big music companies to play certain artists and its hard for little people like us to do for Angelina what should be done!

Yes, I get where your concern comes from. For me, I’m waiting for her EP and Album to land, and then see what Republic Records does to promote her to the world as she is now. We Angels will love her no matter what, but it just seems that others have to come around to her as a Superstar. I don’t know…..guess I’m worried too, but we all have to be patient. She will still be the best to us anyway. We just want to share her with the rest of the world as she is. How fabulously wonderful she is. Let’s hope the rest of the world see’s her like we do.

My hope is that it clicks with Angelina that she doesn't need to break thru to some disingenuous glass ceiling of international music community acceptance. I've thought more recently, as an American, I'm concerned she could be overwhelmed with the flash, glamour, unreal or unhelpful personalities and become "too celebrity Americanized" and lose herself, her genuineness, her individual intuition as she moves forward. My hope is she remains grounded solidly. Her family is such a huge part of her life. Hoping her grandmother stays healthy and has the longevity to see Angelina through her young adult years. But yeah, I fear for her among the wolves of the entertainment industry.
