32:12 I think the Ents did lose one of their own to the fires that Saruman triggered from the shafts in the plain. Pippin tells Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas that, "Several of the Ents got scorched and blistered. One of them, Beechbone I think he was called, a very tall handsome Ent, got caught in a spray of some liquid fire and burned like a torch; a horrible sight." He doesn't explicitly say Beechbone was killed, but the contrast with his previous mention of the Ents that merely suffered superficial burns seems to indicate that he was killed. Great video, as always.

I wonder what secrets the Orthanc contained - if perhaps Saruman, in his centuries of study, might have learned something of the fate of the Ent-Wives and if after the end, these secrets might have been revealed to the Ents after all, either giving them further hope of finding their wives after-all or at least giving them closure about their fate.

Since you ask about the Palantiri, my Lord, I answer: The 3 Stones of Arnor, in Annuminas, in Amon Sul and the Stone of Elendil in Elostirion. Gondor had 4 Stones, that were placed in Osgiliath- the most important of them- in Minas Anor, in Minas Ithil- which became Minas Morgul when it fell to the Nazgul- and in Orthanc, which was used mostly to communicate with Arnor. After the fall of Minas Ithil, the Kings of Gondor locked Orthanc, as they didn't now what had happen to the Palantir and they feared that it had fallen into Sauron's hands, which, as we understand and from Pippin's experience, was totally true. That's why Orthanc was locked when Saruman asked to take it as his residence. King Frealaf and Steward Beren thought that it was a wise option to give Orthanc. Perhaps Beren thought that the Palantir of Orthanc was safe with Saruman. We all know the story from ther after. Cair a Alph, my friends!

There was one Stone in Minis Tirith, one in Osgiliath AND one in Minas Morgul. The one in Osgiliath was lost during the Kin-strife and sunk into the Anduin. Sauron took the Minas Morgul one. In the North, there were Stones at Amon Sul, Annuminas and The Grey Havens. The first 2 were lost with Arvedui's ship. The one from the Grey Havens was taken back to the Undying Lands. The Orthanc stone was the last remaining that still worked at the end of LotR. The Minas Tirith Stone stopped working and Sauron's was buried under Barad-dur.

Hey if I know the lore rightly only 4 stones are left accessible 1.Minas ithil stone 2.Minas anor stone 3.Orthank stone 4. The stone that's set into a tower in the tower hills but I do know two of the stones were lost to the waters of middle earth 1.the osgiliath stone was lost during the many attacks on osgiliath 2. The anuminas stone was lost when the king got on a boat against the council of a sage up north

I wanted to post this under the next DaC video, but I'm going to put it here, before I forget: Concerning the Ered Luin script, there was a request to give each choice more of a benefit. I was thinking about it since I've been playing EL and Erebor recently and I had two ideas for a possible benefit for rejecting the rings. First, you could get access to a few units of the other Eriador factions in Thorin's Halls as a sort of thank you, like Erebor gets Dalian Woodsmen, Dale Cavalry and (I think) Woodland Scouts. Especially I think getting access to Merchant Cavalry would be neat, since you are in dire need of mobile troops to run down fleeing enemies or bind archers. Secondly, instead you could get access to a unique general. Lets say Erebor is impressed with your fortitude and wisdom to reject the rings and thus sends Dwalin (maybe with a custom bodyguard like Axeguard) to reconnect a bit more with their western brothers.

I want to make one tiny correction, which you might already be aware of and maybe you just misspoke: Westron is NOT English. Rather, Westron is the language that Tolkien "translated" into English. Thus, many of the common tongue names for places and things that we are aware of are not actually the names by which they are known in Middle Earth. This is because a word like Rivendell is an English translation of the "original" Westron name, which is "Karningul". Even names of people are translated into English, or rather English versions of the names. For instance, "Frodo" comes from the old English "Frod", meaning "wise by experience", and "Baggins" is probably either a reference to Bag End (an English translation) or "Bagging", which can be used in northern England to mean "eating between meals". Thus, it is English based. The original Westron name of Frodo Baggins is actually "Maura Labingi". Similarly, Rohirric as presented to the reader is not the same as the actual language in lore. It is rendered as a version of old Anglo-Saxon English in order to represent to the reader its linguistic ties to Westron, which is rendered to the reader as modern English.

Guys, can someone help me please. I tried to install DaCV3 but cant run it, because it opens an error which says: echo ERROR: Cannot find the M2TW or Kingdoms executable. What can i do?

Followed all the instructions for DaC and still having unspecified error crashes whenever I try to manually fight battles, custom and campaign. Did it correctly the first time, uninstalled and reinstalled, and tried every thing I could find to troubleshoot the issue. The only one that I couldn't find was that my Med2 didn't have a file in the Virtual Storage folder. Also I think the issue may stem from my games being the original discs and not the steam versions, but also I haven't been able to find this specific issue being brought up. Any advice is welcome and appreciated...
