Just to be clear. The healing number values that I show and talk about in this video will be different on your character! It is largely dependent on your own HP and incoming Healing. But regardless of your numbers, the ratios shall still remain the same, meaning the companions I test to give the most healing, should also give you the best.

Lol, I remember when Paladin Ghost went for about a thousand AD in AH six months ago. I guess that will change soon.

I bought one of the Helmite Paladins for 11k AD last night to fill out my collection and tested it this morning. I was blown away by how good it was and bought 3 more for 11k each. The cheapest one on the AH is now 400k. Glad I figured this out before your video was put up.

What a surprise, the most exclusive and hardest to come by is the best. The rest are largely crap. And I didn't need to watch this video to know it. I've run with so many companions in my four/five years (none of the high-end ones you endgamers use, I'll be honest) and still I've yet to find anything as good value as the standard Wayward Wizard, easily the most underrated active comp in the game for non-endgame (and possibly endgame but I wouldn't know about that :P). Does AOE damage every two seconds, slows minions for a couple of seconds, has a big burst AOE damage every ten or fifteen seconds, and he's 100% free if you choose him during that early quest from Knox, or 1 gold if you need to buy him at the Emporium :) Very useful little fella. I missed this video when you uploaded it. I think I was taking a break from Neverwinter at the time. But very informative nonetheless, helping confirm that even at mythic, healing companions are mostly useless. But I do have one barbarian who runs with the Fawn of Shalia just because it's so dang cute and not being an obsessed endgamer lets me mess about like that, lol :) Cheers, Aragon! Oathbound Paladin/Dedicated Squire is unobtanium. Helemite Ghost is passing the upper price stratosphere on PC Auction House by the hour. Disciple Cleric for the common folk win!

Wish I could get the dedicated squire but it's very expensive. The incoming damage reduction with the angel is quite good for a tank not just as raw damage but it seems to reduce the amount your stamina bar takes from incoming damage. The 5 percent increase on defence is helpful as well so I can basically run just the ring of the condemned and concentrate everything else on awareness and critical avoidance. Atm I'm able to get 90 percent defence crit avoidance and 80 percent awareness once I pop bladed rampart. Which I can do depending on how many mobs I can gather between 20 and 45 secs

funny fact, over my time in vallenhas, i got almost all of those companions from Juma bags, some i already lost because i send them to alts that i eventually get bored of, and erase them, but i have the paladin, and i think i gonna use it on my healer mode to help the party.

I really appreciate this video. It's such a time saver (and precious resources). Three comments/questions. 1. Did you happen to test the Barbarian Shaman? I know some players don't count overshields as shields, but some of us do. 2. I can confirm the Dedicated Squire is quite amazing. I've used it in ZC (console though). I think what's underestimated is that its both a great healer AND and excellent striker. 3. Were you able to determine if there are any stats we can raise or runestones we can use to increase the companions healing? Very curious if our outgoing healing stat improves the companion's healing?

I'm surprised how the prices in market raised so much when you uploaded this video, the paladin ghost costed 100-150k ad and now everyone is selling it in 1M or more in Xbox One

Angel of protection has permanent 5% damage reduction, pretty handy for a tank.

Finally brought Dedicated Squire, someone has one for bidding for 8M AD. Only got it to Epic since tradebar discount next week. So far its very good. Can almost solo first wave of mob in VOS as a Paladin Tank with him. Insane heal for companion. Its like a meh cleric amount of heal so very good for companion. Its AOE heal too so even as a tank I can help the healer. Wider heal range than Lion's 2" for 10% dmg reduction.

Have u done any testing with fighter comps? Specifically xuna, makos, celeste, and the Knox's? I have some of the boxes and trying to decide if it is worth picking up those other comps or just using xuna from that box?

What would your view be on the Stronghold cleric? Do you know how long his shield lasts for. And does he heal frequently? I don't have the zen to buy him.

I have the Stronghold's Cleric and it's Sacred Flame attack is different from the other companions with Sacred Flame in that the attack is faster. However, the healing aspect after the 3rd hit is non-existent (a bug).

I'd love to see your results in a downscaled area. I reckon the issue here is with scaling.. or perhaps the companions have flat numbers to work with somehow. *shrug*

So palladin ghost is bis as summoned for support class especially healers and overal best value for A.D. 2nd overall to dedicated squire but dedicated squire best suited for Aoe envirnoment while pally ghost best suited for boss fights for heal. For me the ghost wins. And now all ghosts will disapear from market within a blink of an eye... sighs...

I was lucky, I discovered the Helmite Ghost early on and use him the most, especially when soloing. Dread turned out to be pretty effective, too. One question I have about the new system: to get the most HP from Bolster you should upgrade to Mythic 10 comps that have the highest HP themselves, right? My Legendary comps range (at my current stats) from 527k - 572k HP; upgrading the 572k ones will give me the highest Bolster amount, so the highest HP?

I think I saw a comment about the cleanse on the MZ bleed and debuffs but not answered. It would be a game changer if the comp could remove those from clumsy dps that are getting hit with dauntings ... I have no way to test though could you :)

Dedicated Squire reached nightmare prices, what's about Celeste ??? You have missed to mention, or is she to bad for your list ???

If you have time and you're still testing healing companions, could you test the Splinters companion? It says it has a heal ability but it doesn't say by how much and it needs to be level 30 to unlock the ability, I haven't put the AD or tokens into it to level it to blue quality. There's also the Faithful Initiate, that has a heal ability but it doesn't say by how much. Some other ones that say they heal but don't say by how much are the Barbarian Shaman, and Celeste.
