For newer Tanks- You will see end game tanks using a broken Neck/Waist set for the CON- Hit points when you get to the point when you dont need the Tiamat set damage redux. Use the Detectors Pendant neck from the new space zone for 6 con and any waist with 6 con like the Darklake Sash. For artifacts in the trial- Tanks should be using one of these artis for primary- Black Dragon Mark. Mythallar(12% stamina). Tentacle Rod. Heart of Black Dragon. Lastly Realm Engine Core. Newer tanks use the Sigil of Paladin but it has no debuff. Let the DPS use the high item level artis for their primary.

One tip on the mounts. You dont need swarm for control imunity. You have pig giving 7,5% hp each second (Stun, controlled) And example use pegasus to buff dmg. If anyone need some extra survive i whould go for pig and Mount healing. Also wanting to point out that headgear and second wind give massive heals. So if low use second wind. Boss attack. The 50% hp get over to you as heal.

mount bonuses make no sense don’t need cooldown reduction don’t need the team buff why do u need 2 protectors covenant also u don’t need rugged helm for aggro those gauntlets are bad now because we have pants that apply the exact same effect aye aye aye bro and tiamat for new trial isn’t good because we only lose all stamina after tank buster might as well run a double con set for hp…

Arms are still good, can use those arms and mycellial pants from northdark, 10% defense on 2 pieces of gear. The mycellial pants pretty much 100% uptime if you're getting hit. Everything else true tho, protectors covenant is trash, tiamat always been bad but running broken set is just not worth, you get like an extra 30k hp. Only other thing that needs to go is the chest piece, shouldn't be using mdp chest on fighter, I'm sitting at his stats without mdp chest, just puts me way over especially with dig in giving free 25%.

@AustralianKASH unless you're hitting caps while digging in, just use mdp chest. The skill ceiling with tank is putting on as much team buff/utility gear as possible without sacrificing survivability. For an updated fighter bud I'd suggest merrilow channel, he's a great fighter and we both use the same build pretty much. The only difference is I use the ap chest piece from menzo when I have a healer but doing so I'm sacrificing 7.5% crot avoid, if I'm trying a no healer run then I'll use mdp chest just for the Stam regen when shield breaks, the stats aren't important because I block so much that they're never giving me 7.5% stats.

Shield Throw is nerfed? I remember years ago, it builds a lot of aggro, and cooldown is like 4-5 seconds.

I just created a new character that's a Fighter and I'm honestly kinda enjoying his style. I'm just ambivalent to choosing between DPS or Tank. If anyone can give their opinion or experience in using them, that would be cool.

Hey I’ve been building up a fighter the last week. Just a quick question should I bother getting the dragon hunt gear? Is mod28 gear better for a tank?

Mod 28 has no good tank gear. Get the rugged Boots, rugged armour and rugged head piece. Get the charging bull bonus ring

Thanks for tips not bad! but about companions, u will again restart the war betwen Tank and Healers???? Healers are already running Drizzt as Main since 3 years and currently Tanks running more Tutor coz that is (more CA) what Dps are missing most and what they ask 😉 U know ppl are sheeps, now we are good to fight for months with some new T will say "coz Aragon say Drizzt for T" little annoying, same thing with Aura...

Fighter is easier early on, but I find Paladin better later on, when you learn it.

For the distance pala is nice. I played both. But the fighter have the better survive. I feel much weaker on pala. But pala is alot more versatile. So i guess depends on what we are judging. Pure survive. Fighter. Versatile pala. Tank dmg, barb.

Cant figure out why my awareness is stuck at 55.8 %. 90,054 IL, 92,443 stat rating. Any suggestions?

Steadfast devotion and fizzy brew extra 10% between those, also use guild food chocolate for 4k awareness ratings, golden bulette is pretty much a must have for tanks since there's few good alternatives.

@MBD-on8qq np, also bruenor comp bonus, there may be alternatives that give defense and awareness like bruenor so might want to look into that since he's expensive. Also chain of scales gives some awareness too. 50% from rating 7.5 from golden bulette, 3.75 from bruenor, 5 from steadfast and 5 from fizz is like 72% and Chain of scales puts me at like 75 then always block with dig in for extra 15% to reach 90. Not sure how familiar you are with fighter tanking but always best to just dig in even if you're out of Stam and dying, free 25% stats gives you way better chances of surviving.

So is Charisma much better overal that strength for stamina regen? I usually see tanks go Con/Str but you went Con/Cha?

Kv is useless now, only good in aoe. Tbh was always pretty bad, never had issues with agro before the changes and after changes I green bar the dps on agro meters in all content. Manticore still great though but not on the helmet. If you watched his moondancer on fighter you can tell this isn't a build from a fighter main lol.

One players is good. For tiamat you need 1 per party, cause they split

I am not happy with you advice . I think i am a better tank even thou my il is lower, u also have the wrong armpeice the rugged gautlets dragon is better it gives damage res .

5% power and 5% defense right off the bat without build up is much more valuable than wasting time to build damage res also what about this build are you not enjoying and if not why don’t you make a build video to counter act aragons
