5:01 Nick could have drawn 6 + 3 from snake umbra since it's worded “Whenever this creature deals damage to an opponent, you may draw a card.” not specifying combat damage.

Loved the game! Mazzy is one of my fave commanders to play, she was piloted excellently, Unfortunately, after the timewipe, the enchantments fall off only after state based actions are checked after mazzy has already been destroyed, meaning mazzy isn't around to exile them from your graveyard

O I never knew that. I always thought they hit the graveyard at the same time as the creatures. If a creature had a death trigger that would return all auras, would it still hit the auras that were on it when it died because state based action happens before triggers go on the stack?

@hiddenleaf658 Your second point is correct by my reading of the rules, you would be able to target the auras that were attached to the creature

Yes, I always check if this works the way I hope in my mazzy decks, and it still never does. Here’s hoping one day someone tells me it’s ok 😅

I don't play voltron commander because I find the gameplay too similar each game and boring, but that Kosei is just insanly broken. Slapping the whole table every turn while drawing tons of cards. Wow! Super cool 😁

The kosei player missed triggers for the snake umbra, its a draw for each damage not only for combat damage

Snake Umbra has this: "Enchant creature Enchanted creature gets +1/+1 and has “Whenever this creature deals damage to an opponent, you may draw a card.”"

@@MTGMuddstah what i meant he only drew one card off the trigger, at least its what i understood from the voice over. Did he draw 3 cards every combat from the snake umbra?

As an avid Kosei player, I was also going to make this comment lmao thanks. Keen sense also works the same way! Only does 1/3 of the things but it's also 1/3 of the cost.

Am I missing something? I thought with Kosei, it was "he deals that much damage to another opponent" not all other opponents.

“Whenever Kosei, Penitent Warlord deals combat damage to an opponent, you draw that many cards and Kosei deals that much damage to each other opponent.”
