Bhupiji i did this (40) FORTY Years ago !! There was an emergency & with no time to spare i hit upon this idea... Just threw things together in the cooker and VOILA !! Finger licking good DAL... Since then i have done the same and also cooked other dals, veggies, meat as well... Works like a Charm every time.
