I've listened to this for years and I've always imagined a story with this. The start is an actual love letter sent by a secret admirer but once it goes to "Ah~ you take my breath away.." it cuts to someone who wasn't supposed to read it. The instrumental shows a man, surpisingly calm, confronting his girlfriend or wife to find out who "Alice" is, forcing her to come clean. The beat drop is the breaking point in the realationship, the man showing his true colours. Then it alternates between the man and Alice as the cheating spouse continues to fall down into a world of uncertainty. How I came up with this was the initial confusion to the gender of the singer, leaving younger me with a mixed message on this song. And that eventually lead to the imagery having both male and female characters present.

This is one of the best songs of 2015 so far
