Nice video, thanks for this. Good to see the Irish language doing well on the Aran Islands. I can't speak Irish meself, but I live in Glasgow and I'm learning Scottish Gaelic 🙂 Suas leis na cànanan Ceilteach!

The ship was a Royal Navy trawler, later used for cargo. The Aran Islands are over rated. Achill Island that can be accessed by bridge is more interesting.
