I know they said 500 year long sleep but it doesn’t make it any less bittersweet after listening the fantasy version of a recording

@Evilriku13 That is correct. Since she only recently woke up and she was 12 years old, the earliest that she would be able to go back to sleep would be when she is 17 years old.

@KnightDragon9 Ryfia didn't age because she was of the Divine Race. She was able to go back to sleep and sleep for 500 years. Basically, when the someone from the divine race goes to sleep, time stops for them. After 500 years, she woke up from her "Slumber" to meet L'arc. The evidence is there. When you see the ending cutscene, in the background is a cradle, which means she OBVIOUSLY went to sleep!

This is the ending!! :o Really had "ARF 2" written on it though. Very impressive game. I actually face palmed though when it said "FIN" and I realised Niko didn't actually live :(

@gorgar43 I would recommend this game pretty highly. It was pretty fun. Personally I would give it a 8 or an 8.5.

@LordArion201 I dunno about you guys but when I see the word "Fin" in any JRPGs it usually means there's no more extra/secret scene after that and it's either save to turn off the console or save your clear data.

Theories: First, maybe ryfia became a rogress like allul, second, everyone else but cecille might be rogress too to see l'arc, third imaginal might be the final boss in the sequel.

@soupa2 The sales of this game were pretty modest. While this game may sell better in the U.S. than in Japan (like No More Heroes), I don't know if it will be enough. However, they did state that they had plans to make Arc Rise Fantasia a series (similar to Luminous Arc). Here's hoping they go through with it.

I'll be honest, Ryfia's last line made me facepalm... killed the ending moment for me. Ignoring that, thanks for sharing your playthrough; looking forward to the postgame.

I find strange no message from Alf, and i think they don't explain what happened to Clyde. Anyway i believe Cecile was up ahead when L'arc woke up. A sequel would be awesome, the story got me hooked. It will be hard to happen but not impossible i suppose, who knows... I don't know why i use to like games that are hard to get sequels. Happy are those who like CoD, they get a new game "every month".

while watching you play this game's main story from beginning to end it makes me want to play it even more, even though some of the characters are a bit annoying. but yeah great gameplay.

I love the song that plays over the credits. This ending sort of bugs me. Sure, L'Arc and Ryfia are reunited, but Serge, Leslie, Rastan (probably), Alf and L'Arc's mom are all long dead, which sucks. Also, Alf got no retribution for his misdeeds during the bulk of the game, and we never find out happened to General Clyde after the fight with Real. So many open plotholes! The "wakeup call" and last scene are still pretty touching though.

The only way I can see myself being satisfied with a sequel is if they make it take place during L'Arc's sleep. It wouldn't feel right for all of these characters to be missing. Also, maybe fix the art style up a bit, namely in the chins and waists.

lol, it slightly bugs me when rpgs say "fin" at the end...it happens in the "Tales of ..." games too, but i guess it's better than the fairytale-style "the end" actually, i dont think they should put anything like that at the end, the gamer should already be well aware of when the game's story is completed. anyway, good game. i liked the ending, but i thought it was a bit too open-ended...o well, the whole game was damn good anyway

The Ending Kinda Suxed :( They should of made it more "sad" and meaninful of niko/adeles death and l'arcs sacrifice if only it were more similar to DQ8
