Alexander Dillard, SF Alpha is a sub-sequel to the original Street Fighter.

@@NintendoPsycho Actually it was renamed SF Alpha for a reason. The story takes place several months after SF1, and the first thing Ryu says to Sagat when he meets him during the final battle: "Back for more, Sagat?"

Got this on the PS1 from a Virgin store after they bought out Our Price and converted the stores. It was the ONLY shop selling the game as it was licenced/distributed by Virgin. Fucking awesome game and longplay :)

What's the difference between regular Akuma and Shin Akuma, and after you beat him, is he added to the roster?

dude.. Shin Akuma moves faster and has a fast recovery when he is stunned and had 2 aerial fireballs, regular Akuma has only one aerial fireball.. No, Only regular Akuma here at Street Fighter Alpha, no Shin Akuma here.. But in Street Fighter Zero 2 and Zero 3... Shin Akuma is added to the roster but he's a secret character

Street Fighter Alpha 1 is the only 1on1 fighting game with All.. Default random Backgrounds. Even for the boss fights. #cheapmade

I am a fan of the Street Fighter Zero (Alpha) series but Capcom should have moved on for the SF series and other Capcom fighting games to use ideas like air combos, super combo cancels, team assists and combos, tag team battles, boost and double jumps (all ideas from the Versus series even X-Men Children of Atom) and if other fans do not like it, they would make a Classic Mode and if the SF series was like that then the Versus series would be more complex and addicting.

Get SFA Anthology for the PS2! Arcade perfect ports with very minimal loading. Plus Hyper Street Fighter Alpha and Pocket Fighter Mini Mix. Can't go wrong with that one....:D

***** Yeah.There has been PSX,Saturn and even GBC ports. The best,however,is the Street Fighter Alpha Anthology disc.Nothing better at the moment(aside from owning the cabinet..X_X)

This guy beat the game on easy mode with the difficulty low. There is no way you can defeat Akuma that easy on normal mode. Anyone can make a cheat video dude.

the skill is what makes you better. By playing him at his hardest, it makes you better and improves your strategy as well. I played him everyday and to this day I use some of his winning strategies to beat my opponents. like kupp said in transformers the movie "Experience lad, you should learn to appreciate it".

I feel like it's either: • Beat all rounds without losing a single round • Win all fights without using a continue • Get at least 2 perfects in your run

Each character in Street Fighter Alpha 2 has two rival characters - a secret rival who they fight mid tournament if the player fulfils certain requirements, and the main rival boss who they fight on the last stage. The midboss requirements are at least 5 super combo finishes. On the next stage, (if before battle 6) the midboss will appear. If you lost a round, the midboss will not appear. For the mid tournament rival, the 'HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER' screen will appear at the start of the current round. The rival will take the place of the original opponent in the fight (the stage will still be that of the original opponent's however).

This game has the most lackluster stages and backgrounds in any SF game and something about the presentation is boring. Thank god 2 was much better, this game seems like it's still in its alpha stage by comparison, no pun intended.
