"you are a brave fighter to have cleared such a difficult stage." yeah the first fucking stage. FRIGGIN hard ass 80s arcade games eating up all the quarters of kids like me. still better than call of duty.

I remember this game in the arcades when I was a kid. It reminded me of Thundercats and I use to pretend I was Lion O playing as the main character. I always failed before I can reach the second level. Loving the random ropes that appear in random places when needed.
@ZipClassic12 жыл бұрын
I have fond memories of my brother and I playing this at the pool every Summer. Although as kids we really stuck (especially now when you look at how simple the really is) because rarely did we ever make it past the second stage and if we did we never made it far into stage 3

Now this is a game I remember quite well. Because I played this in the arcades many years ago. And I loved it. But I never could beat it. You make this look so easy.

I used to play this game everyday after school at the pool hall. They used to have the volume turned up so LOUD!!. This music is infectious!!

I only played this game once or twice at a local convenience story 24 years ago, but upon hearing the music again just recently, I instantly recognized it!

Best part about this game: The music. I always would find myself humming the music from the first stage in the valley of kings. lol

I played Rastan with C64 years back then and got only to stage 4... game was original, but there was just one jump over the water (with rope) that could not be done. It would be great to see it done, IF it is possible. Nintendo version has almost the same music but its much more playable with jumps and more colourful. Thanks for the upload, great playing!

I remember playing this in downtown Los Angeles.... man it was such a great game for its day. Does anyone know if this was released in a compilation (any console)? I suppose I'll just have to get the rom.
@RSS198814 жыл бұрын
You are not allowed to use continues if you run out of lives at any point in Round 6; I guess that's why the final boss is not as difficult to beat as you'd expect.
@zenmart13 жыл бұрын

Loved playing this in the arcade, but everytime I got to the part in the 2nd level about 9:03 into this video where you jump down and have to break the floor to go to the bottom level, the arcade game would suddenly stop and the title screen would appear. At that point you would have to start over. This would only happen if I didn't break that floor immedianly. If I stayed on the upper floor, the game would crash. Anyone else have that trouble?
@mephisto4014 жыл бұрын

I was always disappointed that the Amiga port never came out. The Amiga was powerful enough to a perfect port of the arcade game. Of course, considering how most home ports turned out, it would probably have sucked. :(

I dunno...no offense, I mean from start to finish without even getting hit, gaming god perfection precision, i mean some of the spot you came within a pixel of getting hit and didn't even break stride. maybe you are that good but i believe it is possible with save states and clever editing that a person could create the illusion of perfection
