As a 30+ yr old who grew up in arcades, yall NAILED it with that carpet! Love the matching stools. The black walls will be perf once decorating more. Focus to everything that isnt black basically.

Hey Gem, a couple thoughts for your basement: you should definitely get some blacklights for the arcade. I know a couple months ago OPB had blacklight Marvel poster packs (IDW I think). That'd be kinda sick in the arcade with statues too. Also, for the couch area, maybe look into one of the coffee tables that has the pop-up center part that can raise up to make reading there more comfortable for you. Just a thought anyway. Not sure if those types of tables are junk or not but just thought it'd be easier to get the book up higher. I personally use a drawing table (drafting) but that's because I already owned one since I occasionally dabble in art. Im sure you're getting tired if dragging that desk across the basement though lol. Happy 4-20 tho bro. Arcade looks sweet so far

P.S. I meant that I use a drawing/art desk to read at as well as to draw at. It's nice because it can tilt up and hold a book kinda like those cook book stands. That could also be a potential option and maybe cheaper that the coffee table idea. Sorry for the length, just needed to clarify.

Yep, adds some boards and brackets shelves to the walls, and you can display some statues. The atmosphere hearing all those games is so nostalgic. Need an air freshener that sprays a butter popcorn smell.

I'd go straight street pharmcologist with that blank wall and get a serious tropical fish tank. Maybe get a custom insert in the tank, venom, hulk, etc..would look sick and be a nice organic piece to your show floor.

In the hallway between the guest bedroom and arcade room, I think all the walls should be used for prints, instead of having 1/4 scale statues. Don't want to block the way for arcade units and boxes and what not coming and going unnecessarily (because your storage room for your boxes is past that too!).

Mannnn I love your whole basement especially the statue room. Only one this to me that is kind of messing up your arcade room look and that is having too many stools. I have 16 arcades and to me it looks way better with only a few stools. Not only does it give more room but it looks more like a real arcade without the stools. But don’t mind me it’s your beautiful set up and you are entitled to do what you want with your own arcade. Love everything that you have done!
