I also realized it when I first saw the tattoo at ep 4 I thought it was cool and badass but then when jinx lights her flare to call vi I saw the blue smoke coming out of the flare and that's when I realized why she had that tattoo omg I cried at that scene 😭😭😭.

From what I have read, Fishbones represents Silco. Someone said the following in another video i saw. Knowing and being his surrogate daughter, he must've told her about the large fish underwater and how he found them beautiful. She makes the launcher in his honor, not knowing the outcome, it represents her love for him, validation or something else... The symbol that initiates...the inevitable.

You say that, but what was Jayce's solution? Why does every problem need to be single handedly fixed by Heimerdinger? Isn't that the purpose of the council, so that they can cover up for each other's weakness? He has exactly 1/7th of the votes in the council. Any criticism laid on his feet regarding the situation should also be laid in the feet of every single council member, including Jayce. Heimerdinger is a scientist. He is neither a politician nor is he a leader, he is aware of that and that is why he created the council the way he did. 7 people, each with the exact same amount of power. He is the Dean of the Academy and his area of expertise is clearly technology, so why does it fall solely on his lap to solve every social and legal problem in the city? I mean, Jayce rose to his post in the council with the safeguarding of Hextech, and yet every single breakthrough he hastily made ended up stolen from him and used against the city. I found it exceptionally ironic that he would listen problems that are, in part, caused by himself and then attack Heimerdinger for not solving them. He mentions how people are terrified, but they are terrified because of attacks that only happened to steal technology that he made and failed to secure. I mean, he developed the Reinforced Crystal and left it in his office, for crying out loud. Heimerdinger is far form perfect. He was certainly mistaken in the previous arc, and not only did he accept that, he learned from it and started to support Jayce and Viktor once he was shown evidence and proven wrong. But in this arc? Everything Heimerdinger said was right. It is hard to go further without spoilers, but Viktor and Jayce were far too hasty with how they wanted to push out. And the Hexcore was clearly something they didn't properly comprehend and were hastily using in a desperate bid to save Viktor. No great human advance, even in our world, came to its full potential in a year or two. The field of science is made out of people standing on each other's shoulders. Sure, he is long lived, and yes that does skewer his perspective a little. But 10 years, for something as revolutionary as hand-held high-powered lasers or gauntlets that give people super strength? How can anyone possibly think that is excessive? How long has Tesla been testing their automatic cars? How long did it take for Nuclear energy to become viable and safe? Heimerdinger is not without faults, but arc 1 demonstrated he can clearly see and learn from them. LEts not pretend for a single second that this entire thing wasn't just a political maneuver to remove an obstacle. For all his faults, the council benefits a lot more from having Heimerdinger than from not having him. The only reason he was removed is because he was in the way, not because it was good for Piltover. EDIT: Wow that turned out a lot longer than I thought.

As are most of us to be fair. We just like to think we aren't, but in the grand scheme of things, we don't care that much about people's suffering to the point of actually doing anything. We only say righteous things while accomplishing none of the things we actually can do to make a difference.

@@victormagoco9752 I think the point thought is that you don't know it will save his life. In fact you know 0 about it, you are just hoping it will. And it is not just technological repercussions we are talking about. In the world of Arcane, it has been made clear that magic has caused genocides and used as a weapon of war. So the stakes are a bit higher. For all they know, they could blow up half the city.

@@sublix4861 i gotta garee that Arcane was probably the best (at least one of the beat) of the year. Then again, there was barely anything this year. Kind of sucks.

Yeah, Vi and Powder's parents were killed by the cops under Heimer's watch. He's a nice person, but he doesn't understand other people, and ends up messing things up without even realising that he's done something. He almost drove Jayce to suicide, and didn't even notice.

Heimerdinger may be inactive and sheltered, but the other councilors are actively corrupt and don't give a shit. It's not like he's Piltover's dictator. As gets shown, the rest of them don't do or think any better.

@@Lightice1 jayce’s almost suicide still looks small in comparison to the other horrible things he’s let happen. he’s literally let HALF of his city breath toxic air and live in poverty. his input is still needed but he never should’ve been allowed to run a place full of people he can’t relate to in some of the most basic concepts.

@@chance757 Yeah, I brought up Jayce because Jayce is Heimerdinger's own student, someone he personally knows and interacts with face to face. And he still doesn't realise what he's doing to the poor man. Heimer probably hasn't even been to the Undercity for 100+ years, no wonder that he's even less understanding of their much more serious problems.

crows represent change or transformation. whenever we see a crow, Jinx is shooting at them, refusing to acknowledge what she has become. [SPOILER] the last scene with the chair and the black feathers represent Powder finally being dead and fully becoming the Jinx that she is. the change/transformation being completed.

@@rakansasas1111 Weren't they using weapons against Vi? And on the last moment wasn't someone going to hurt or kill Vi? Just when the "boss" stops them and says to take Vi with them.

@@idk-ye7ur is because the "boss" (quotes because we know who he is) needed to know if Vi was still the same or not. His plan was to neutralise them and/or kill Jinx, then question the other two later. If Vi doesn't pass the interrogation, then she dies, and so does Caitlyn. If she lives, then she has a new ally.

I, for one, think that if one should make the comparison, she's much more of a Joker than a Harley. The fact that she's a girl doesn't automatically make her Harley 😂 Jinxes "relationship" with Vi can also be seen as similar to the relationship Joker shares with Batman. Harley was defined by her infatuation with Joker, and later, gaining independence, became more of a crazy antihero.

I've never played LoL, but I remember a I saw the JInx cinematic years ago, and thought, "Welp, someone at Riot sure likes Harleyquin." However, after watching the show I was pleasently surprised at how well her character is established and differentiates itslef from Harley (while still being obviously inspired by her)

Of course he's gonna be expressive, that's his face before he got crushed by rocks lmao. The same for Claggor's face, it's literally like a corpse because he got killed instantly with no time to react by a shrapnel from the explosion.

@@RikuHarada6996 I think it based on how Jinx saw them, Claggor was neutral to her, while Mylo was always saying things and had a bigger influence for her.

But it's intended to represent Mylo and Claggor's death and what their state Jinx see them whenever she closes her eyes and that's why she became crazy, if you pay close attention to the bodies of Mylo and Claggor in that scene Mylo has blood on his shoulder because that's where he was stabbed by a metal pipe before he got crushed by the stones and Claggor has blood on his forehead because the shrapnel penetrated his skull.

That's in the game, though. In the show it's clear that Heimerdinger is a yordle, he isn't hiding his true nature from anyone. And there's plenty of other yordles in the background, including the brothel madame, and no indication that people wouldn't see them for what they really are. I think they got rid of that part of the lore for the sake of convenience.

Actually they have mostly retconned the whole glamour thing. That book was the literal copy of the scouts guidebook teemo wrote

@@MrDarkSidius It's clear that Jayce and the Council know that Heimerdinger isn't a human. He freely admits being over 300 years old and Jayce openly expresses his frustration over how Heimer doesn't understand human perception of time. As I understand, even the games have ignored the yordle glamour for quite some time since it's just an inconvenience to the story most of the time.

He probably delegated way too much.

The problem is that Heimerdinger is too idealistic and too preoccupied with his role as a scientist to see how corrupt the council is and how things have gotten in Zaun. I've pointed this out to other people but Heimerdinger is the only council member that is absent when the Council orders Marcus and Grayson to search Zaun for the thief that stole the hex crystals. It's likely that they simply made the decision without him or omitted all the details that were "inconvenient".

@@artboymoy That still makes him responsible, he is head of the council/government, If he's going to accept being in that position then he has to accept responsibility of what happens under his administration, or just resign.

@@Birthday888 That's even worse, he is the head of the council/government, if he's too occupied to the degree that the council is making decisions without voting and without his presence it means he is not fit and a part of the problem, and also still makes him responsible.

@@Shadi_Wajed Oh, totally. I'm not saying he's not responsible, at best he shares partial responsibility for Zaun's condition. He's also not fit for the council or politics in general due to how he views the world thanks to his enormous lifespan. I just think he's more redeemable than the other members of the council, sans Jayce and maybe Mel and Caitlyn's mom, who were actively making things worse. He's also not the head of the government. Every person on the council carries an equal vote. If he was the head, Jayce's trial would've gone more smoothly and he wouldn't have to be bailed out by Mel and her connections. Which is why the council could probably move without his knowledge, because if they all unanimously agreed on a decision, with even only one or two dissenters, Heimerdinger's vote wouldn't matter anyway.
