“Be more creative” Yeah! People are too desensitized to basic insults! To really make it hurt, go for personal things like features and insecurities. Another strategy is to say something Shakespeareian. Nobody has a good response to “You are a spineless toad who’s wife is cheating on you because being with you is like being deathly ill.”
