This is actually dope as hell and it made me super excited. I guess I hadn't thought about it as much as you, but Vi planning to side with her sister (to save her) and lying to everyone else in order to get close seems so obvious in hindsight and entirely consistent with the character and with interviews concerning Vi and Cait's relationship. Great video.

Interesting video. Some things I agree with, some things I do not, but we'll just have to wait and see. The final shot of the trailer being a misdirection is huge, though. I didn't even consider that.

I really like how you thought the hooded figure was Viktor as well, now I don't feel as if I'm alone anymore 😭The figure looks thin, notice the thin shoulders, the head looking smaller, that's definitely Viktor. The way the cloak is floating suggests the person is holding onto a cane (see how they're slouched, and their arm is probably holding onto it) and who just so coincidentally uses a cane? My boy Viktor! I might be wrong, though. Don't burn my house down if I'm wrong

1:37 I think Sevika is still loyal to Silco and therefore protects Jinx. The arm fits better to how Jinx sees her - tough and more rough just like a shark. She isn't worried that Sevika would loose is gonna loose that fight and stands there so that he's surrounded. Apparently he rather wants to try his luck against Sevika. Also the chem barons weren't that loyal to Silko to begin with and are reluctant of Jinx taking over. Smeech could've been the one who stood up against her and has to be an example - as a way of showing Jinx isn't as soft like Silco, who let them live.

Remember, people, Riot Studio and Fortiche, are very good with misdirection with their trailers. Although this video is very close to what we should expect, we'll have to see ourselves of how Season 2 will go out Plus, I'm now invested with this video being right and/or close enough

The zeppelin in the orange clouds is used by the chemtanks to drop in. It's not from Noxus. Also the Noxian soldiers are already in the undercity during all this because we can see one of them in the military checkpoint that gets blown up. Other than that, there's a lot of good stuff here

Love the video! Great analysis, it makes a lot of sense! Also, while the frame of Jinx and Vi fighting might be fake, they've been hinting at their fight since the intro of season 1, they could've meant it as a metaphor, but I wouldn't exclude that at some point they will seriously fight each other. Though, they could also be heavily misdirecting us and just have a wholesome happy ending instead, right? ...right?

1:37 this I disagree with. If you look at the frame by frame, you can see jinx in the way behind him blocking him from escaping. In an interview one of the producers said that everyone in season 2 is essentially the opposite from season one, which would provide an argument for Sevika seemingly working with jinx. If jinx was making him fight sevika, chances are she would be fighting too. Furthermore, sevikas arm, which was destroyed by the end of season 1 has been modified by none of than jinx, meaning they seem to have some sort of alliance since the conclusion of season 1.

The last scene of the trailer does make sense: Vi looks desperate and close to tears, while Jinx looks more surprised with her eyes widening. She did proabably not expect Vi to attack her while she is unarmed - we can clearly see that at least her right hand is empty and I doupt that she would try to fight Vi with her bare fists. But how did she loose her Gun? My bet is on that sniper shot from Caitlyn we see in the trailer. This scene probably happens at the end of Act 1 with Jinx ending up in prison. Taking out a dangerous terrorist would also probably secure Vis and Caits position as sheriffs of Piltover.

Wonderful vid! I really hope Sevika and Jinx will team up rather than fight. I wonder if jinx will hide silco or leave him there, but it would be too easy to know she killed him if she left him

Much text: Although I disagree on some points (especially that the fight between Jinx and Vi is a misleading shot, since they have already said that they are going to fight in the 1st act, although I still admit that you made me doubt) very good video, and finally someone takes into account the wound on Caitlyn's lip. She will definitely be in that "fight" between in Jinx and Vi, she surely followed Vi on the sly. Then Vi betrays her and Cait tries to follow the plan she made before without Vi, only with his team that we saw in the trailer, but despite everything I'm sure she still cares about Vi but obviously feels betrayed by what happened. I think after the "fight" between Jinx and Vi, Vi will let Jinx run away because despite everything she did, she's her sister, and obviously this will make Caitlyn angry as she feels betrayed. Probably it will be Cait who leaves Vi because of that, although it could also be Vi who stops being an enforcer and leaves, but from what they said about Vi emo hallucinating with Caitlyn, probably it will be Cait who left her (funny that these two will break up for the second time even without being anything xd). After Vi sinks into sadness, Caitlyn will somehow find her and they'll patch things up somehow if or if, and from there their relationship would start to develop more to the romantic side. I mean, they literally said that Vi emo would be hallucinate about Caitlyn and that Vi would then hit the guy upon realizing that it wasn't Cait and that he was trying to kiss her (meaning she thought Cait was going to kiss her and Vi was going to let herself be kissed😳) . So whether or not they end up together, but they definitely have to make us suffer a bit (a lot 😭) at the beginning, because no doubt after the end of S1 I knew their relationship was going to be problematic because of what happened, but considering they have said there is going to be a part we are going to like (the part that happens after they reconcile) and a part we are not (Vi "betraying" Cait and becoming emo). So at least, I trust that those two end up together, because otherwise I'm going to kill myself, literally alive for them😭, although I also want to know what happens with Viktor (Glorious evolution PLEASE) and Jinx at the end Well, we'll see what will happen when the season comes out

it looks like smeech is desperate, so the scene is probably taken by the end and probably attacks sevika as she is a weaker one of the two. As jinx is a shimmer monster and sevika is human which one would you want to fight if you were cornered. Jinx is like look who i caught pose and they are in an alley and smeech has no men left.

Amazing video! But is like to point out the cut on Caitlyns lip, if you look at all the time you see her in the trailer you'll see she don't have a cut in the chem-atack, than had a fresh cut on her lip in the fight between jinx and vi in the room with pillers and jinx's drawings, than a healed scar on her lip in the line up the strike team. Suggesting the fight between jinx and vi happens some time in the middle of the trailers time line. Sorry if that doesn't make much sense!

Edit : I did not express myself clearly since english isn't my native language but the word for what I'm describing here seems to be a camera circle! [5:00] There is camera circle turning around them, like in episode 6 when they hugged, at least SO SAYS the background turning like this in the back, but their faces are not matching the movement at all, they are shown like there is a camera focused on them, centered on them sure, but we should have seen their faces moving along with the background (like in ep 6 by instance, where we see them centered but the camera turns around them and we see more parts of their bodies) 😉✌

Yooooo you may be onto something. Because that place of the lip wound and such was confusing but it does make sense. Part 1: aftermath of se1 Part 2: strike team and the clash among the pillars Part 3: total war (and maybe more focus on Viktor because we have seen way too little of that arc so far)

So I guess that kiss is not gonna happen (Vi & Cait) 😪 Excellent video, btw. I haven't seen this much attention to detail in any other trailer analysis

Vi will end up giving up on Jinx in act 2 or 3. If Vi and Caitlyn are going to separate in act 1 and get back together in act 2 or 3 it means that Vi has made the decision to start a new life without Jinx and pursue her all the time. Vi will end up with amnesia or something because her relationship with Jinx is 100% clear that it will end from bad to worse and that will be the painful ending of season 2. It's obvious.

DANG I LOVE THIS SHOW. SO I have an edit to make! I was really not sure about the Sevika shot so I went to check again, and find out that Jinx had a new gun! 🧐The handle is different, it is not drawn over, and it has two little things on it like Zapper, it's a different design. Her gun from Arcane only have one single little thingy on the top. This one, like Zapper, her gun from the game, have two. This could be an early version of it. You point out the cloak that Savika is wearing, could that not be the hooded figure then? I like the idea of it being Victor but still... the idea of it being Savika is possible.

I really don't think Vi would betray Cait, not after everything, they really became close, they helped each other, they fought together, and I'm sure they would never fight.

I also think that Jinx is likely chilling in the alley and being all calm because Sevika is on HER side. Sevika is the one to beef it out with a wild Smeech as they are going to put down the cartels in the lanes, Jinx therefore being seen more like a spirit of freedom from the chembarons, hence the graffiti with the flag maybe?

I'm hoping the last shot between Vi and Jinx isn't Fortiche and Riot pulling a Marvel and fooling us. Otherwise, great analysis, November couldn't come sooner.

You are overthinking things. Not everything has to be subversion of expectations. Good writers let fans predicts things and still go on with what makes sense... if writers keep subverting expectations, it will ruin the story. Just look at game of thrones. Sevika has no reason to stop the fight between those two as she hates them both.

You never,ever give up on family, it is only too far gone when you stop trying. If Vi gives up on Jinx only after getting through to her a few times and that' it, "My sister is gone". man that is defeatist. Vi has to own up to her mistake for punching her sister and validating everything Mylo said when Powder was at her most vulnerable. Mylo and Vi cemented her trauma Silco thought he could help Jinx by empowering her and putting her through the exact circumstance he had with Vander, unfortunately that does not work as Silco hoped it would. At least Silco did empower her and cared for her, he fell into the Father doing the best he knew how,for better or worse. He ended up turning into Vander by the end and was willing to give up his dream for Jinx's sake just as Vander did. Back to Caitlyn I think she had Jinx in her sights but it was not a kill shot,Jinx gets away. I do not think Jinx will die anymore. I do hope she gets some type of resolution though. Long live JINX. She hits too close to home for me.

Feel like there's a lot of hope in here and not a lot of reality against the story lines of the characters in the games. Vi winds up in Piltover as Caits partner. So, anything presuming that they don't wind up on the same side is already barking up the wrong tree. I don't think getting there is going to be clean or good, and I bet there's a reason they're just partners and not more. But theyre not enemies by any stretch. Also, Guns are a Piltover and Bilgewater thing. Most other nations, Noxus included, don't use them. So the arrows could just as easily be from current times. You could just as easily ask that question of Sevika or Ambessa - Why have swords when guns are an option? Definitely true there's a lot of misdirection in the trailer. But to draw any further conclusions beyond that is making toooons of leaps.
