I love the fact that the guy spent time talking about the utility room being able to save the owner some money on heating and cooling the house… Because energy costs are a real deal breaker when someone is buying a 75 Mil house on a skiing mountain.

After a while it'll get depressing though, cos you're surrounded by the cold and snow Also, it's definitely not worth 75mill. You can make your own designs for a house and pay a construction company to build it. It's gonna be much cheaper than this, even after you add all the furniture, which is really cheap comparatively

I understand that the majority of people prefer normal sized homes that are not expensive for a number of reasons they collectively agree on but comparing and contrasting this to other incredibly expensive massive unrealistic houses in the internet, this home seems to be one of the ones that are interior decorated properly, more realistic than others, attractive, and altogether in my opinion if the better and more unique homes we see on the internet.

@@markhirstwood4190 Yes, and the thing is people can’t call the price “insane.” They must first consider who the target customer is for these kind of homes, what they are looking for, and what these specific customers can afford. These customers are most likely near-retiring billionaires looking for an expensive home with as many facilities as possible and the greatest views and location, after considering that then people may understand the price.

This house is on a whole nother level. First of the location and then the whole design of it. I love the sky light concept where there’s a stream of running water on the sky light. The abstract effect it will have when it shines on the interior of the house is so peaceful. It’s such an amazing idea. The entire design does some really good justice to the location. And it’s views. The Architect has really tried to blend in the outside atmosphere with the coziness in a subtle way, it’s Amazing! 👏🏼 ❄️💯❤️

Just speculating, but losing power in the winter could quickly lead to frozen pipes that require tearing up the concrete. Much easier to fix/replace an above ground unit.
@paigebradbury6746
@paigebradbury6746 2 жыл бұрын
this is not an all season property, it’s a vacation home that the owner rents out. Outdoor inground hot tubs and pools require constant maintenance, power and a sturdy foundation, and when the power cuts and ur backup generator only can only power so much or u decide ur not gonna visit the property for a month maintaining a hot tub can be difficult, also installing outdoor pools or any concrete in that type of climate & rocky terrain is hard because the concrete will freeze/contract in the winter and then warm up/expand in the summer causing it to crack, it’s less of a headache for the owner to just leave it like that rather than spend a whole bunch of money fixing and maintaining the unsightly problems that will come with it year after year.

Everyone who lives there is worth 8 figures- you can't find a home in Aspen under 5 million. Even Condos are going to run you 2+ at minimum. Its so expensive even the vacationers are essentially guaranteed to be millionaires- it has to be one of the lowest crime towns in the US. Whoever owns this home is not worried about some random skiing up to their backdoor, when there is a billion dollars worth of homes within a 5 block radius.

This is the example of when someone overshoots just a bit. So much of this is incredible- but sometimes having every possible thing on hand is actually not going to be the design that both looks or works the best. Also- the bubble up sink is cool- but if I want a glass of water- then I have to leave the bedroom to get one or fill it in the shower... that's the kind of thing I am talking about. You get so deep in this stuff and make something and think you have covered everything and also nail the aesthetics- but miss something very simple

House tours with one guy holding a camera and taking you through the house is much better than what we see in this video. With these cut shots it makes the video kind of chaotic and everywhere and doesn’t show you every single part of the house and how it fits together. One guy holding a camera is better while also much simpler.

Knowing that my investment is in safe hands got me excited,he made that possible with his excellent trading technique, beginning this great journey I invested $1500 capital and in a few days I got a return of $6300. His confidence, reliability and diligence is undeniable.

Would the water from the indoor pool not eventually spill over on the floor, especially when someone is swimming

It is a beautiful house and the many custom pieces/aspects make it quite unique. The garage with the rotating feature is brilliant. This house would be ideal if it also included household staff quarters. By the size of it and with the many moving parts, this requires at least two permanent live in crew in order to maintain its beauty, cleanliness, stocking the fridge, making the meals, etc. The features of this house feel like it will need just the right buyer who wants alll the high end customizations and the specific amenities it offers. The primary selling point of this house to me is the location. Overall, the design of this feels quite commercial (cold), not residential.

You could have many of these luxuries and fixtures on a smaller, more manageable scale. 27,000 sq ft?! That's a museum.

I don’t think my dream house exists… I want the luxury of this house but just smaller. All these luxury houses have far too many rooms for just a couple.

You could design what you'd love and have it built. Some friends of mine are doing that right now and it actually came out to be less of an investment than settling for houses already on the market that didn't work for them.

This is actually beautiful and in stunning surroundings. However it is just too big for my personal taste. Maybe 2-3 bedrooms same living area with the views and all would be wonderful and perfect, a cozy mountain getaway.

The developers who built this house took a massive "break the rules & apologize later" approach - they expanded the house way beyond what was originally approved. They basically applied for single changes across multiple departments and the departments were not aware of all the overall changes...so they got away with building the home on a technicality. Whoever moves into this house will likely have to deal with upset neighbors within the development, because this house infringed into common-use land and was generally controversial in the community.
