I made this video 1 day before the patch update. I'll be making another video discussing changes to skills I see worth mentioning and combos you can pull off cheesing players in game.
Insulating Lens - the amount of dmg you can shield off is actually scaled from your weapon's magic attack.
Void Surge - The number seen above your head, just means how many times you can teleport. Ghastly pack only shoots out once per teleport.

Hey, loving your videos! One suggestion since you’re growing as a channel:change the intro to something more relaxed, it should set the tone for the video and seems out of place currently. Hope this helps you grow and good luck!

its jsust a great class overall. but other classes like Spectre and Spiritualist are about equally as strong if not better. depending on how you play the class.

U said attack speed is very good for malediction but why is that so? I'm playing emissary - dread runner, it's malediction and auramancy and I change between occu and shadow play, I was thinking magic def pen and attack speed gems but ppl are dvited on forums and Google so it's hard to pick a side.

Hey @Dude, im playing revenant on unchained and have made a somewhat hybrid tanky build, and while im harder to kill than the average mage, i also am incapable of bursting anyone down in 1V1. is this just to be expected? should I, as a revenent be building full tank or full damage instead of a mix?

its expected. as a revenant, youre a support tank/dps mage. you dont scale as well as a full dps mage and arent as tanky as a full tank mage.

I’m still very confused why people dual wield. I’m a new player so excuse the confusion. Staffs have the highest magic attack, whereas a scepter is much lower. If dual wield, what’s the point of the other weapon if you’re not using it since we are casters?

its very dependent on your playstyle. DW has less dmg but have a higher stat pool and more atk speed (more atk speed scales really good with Malediction-Crashing Waves). the reason why staff is not good right now, because a lot of the "hard cast sorcery spells" scales better with % and not raw magic attack # - More Critical Damage/Skill dmg > More magic attack.

Is spellsinger still viable compared to fanatic?

it can be. its a different play style from fanatic. You run in do your burst dmg and run out and wait for CDs. as a Fanatic, you can play more aggressively for majority of the time. Spellsingers have 1 dps tree, 1 support tree and 1 utility tree. whereas fanatic has 2 dps trees and 1 utility tree.

@@dude7425 How is the grind with hdual wield? far bigger I'm assuming? Or do you just upgrade main hand weapon and slowly the off hand? And would I be put at large disadvantage if I would use staff? Sorry for questioning so much just want to make sure before I invest too much, if you have a discord I would like to discuss more if possible.

Senox long story short, sorcery gives your target status effects like burn, freeze and electrocute. Each skill gets a % dmg increase when target has said status effect, for example. Your basic flamebolt Does 12% more dmg when the target is electrocuted. Gods whips and a few other skills gives electrocute. And gods whip deals like 20% more dmg on burned targets. A target can have up up to 3-5 different status effects at one time. That’s why in 6.0, flamebolt and godwhips does a lot of dmg. Malediction is pretty much, charge up malice stacks from Fury. And use your malice consuming skills to get an enhanced version of your skills-like serpent bite and blade fall.

Backpeddling isnt that bad in archeage, in wow nobs back peddle, I'm so use to wow so I dont back peddle but its not as harsh in archeage if u do

Your mic suck badly you seriously need to change it ASAP with something better, I struggle to get what you are saying even with volume way higher than I usually have it while watching anything else...
