I have one of the Nomad Warrior/Alibow horse bows and really like it. I wanted a backup so also have ordered the Tatar bow, thx. It was heartwarming to see you launch a flyer arrow way to the right during your chrono test. I've had to put up a 3/8" plywood board behind my target to catch the bloopers that I periodically and inexplicably launch way to the right when I use thumb-draw. ;-)

My bow arrived and it looks great. The belly and back appear to be thin strips of bamboo with some very beautiful wood in between. It is very light and looks to be very well made. I cannot see any flaws. The fiberglass would have been cheaper, but the wood is awesome. I got outside this morning and shot about 40 arrows before the heat got unbearable here. I am so glad I did not start with a higher draw weight. 30 pounds allows me to work on form and technique without shaking and makes it much more pleasurable. Later on, I might move up to a 45 pound Manchu, but this is perfect for now. I was interested in archery, but would not have done this or known about Alibow without seeing them here on your channel. Thank you Armin, for putting out this content. I did let Alibow know that you sent me.

I just received mine yesterday and pulled it back to about 29 inches and heard some creaking/cracking about 90% of the way there…I ended up returning it and am waiting for my exchange to come. Should these limbs make any noises as they’re being flexed? I have a fiberglass recurve that draws smoothly and this thing freaked me out…I thought it was going to break.

I'm thinking of picking one of these up in either 25# or 30# draw to get back into archery and start thumb-drawing with a ring. My question is, would one of these work in a hunting respect if I worked up to a 40# draw?(I live in Texas, and many whitetail have been taken with 35# bows)

@MiaogisTeas 4 жыл бұрын
Is it a question of the weight of the arrow (and hunting arrowhead) or the speed? I think if you can figure out which factor is required for hunting, then it's a question of working back to the rule of thumb for these bows which is 10 grains per pound of draw weight, from memory.

Me passa seu e-mail? Tenho tantas dúvidas! Jamais imaginei encontrar um BR que manda dessas coisas.

People who say "dont do Katra, hold your bow steady" obviously dont know the benefits of giving the arrow an extra kick and eliminate archers paradox. They must be used to seeing one style only

I guess it depends. When you go hunting, you don't want to have any unnecessary movement. But for the rest: khatra rules :D
