They should have a more extreme level with smaller ends on the arrows and stronger bows. I think it would be more exciting and enjoyable for older people who are used to paintballing.

What would happen if you fire these arrows from a high powered 70lb hunting compound bow? Would the speed and power possibly cause the shaft to push through the foam on impact making it deadly? Or would it just hurt more like paintball?

I played a larp at one point right.. I would catch arrows fired at me and shoot them back.. problem was that the rules disallowed for the catching of arrows as it was classified as an "arm hit" Still did it though...

Extreme Archery by Archery Tag® not only allows catching arrows, we encourage it because you get 3 points for each arrow caught. :)

You have to go through them, its a patented game. But you can get the equipment through them on ArcheryTag.com.

Yeah I have a bow myself its a crude PVC bow and while its probably not the most dangerous in the world it's not a toy and is probably not pleasant to get hit with even with those padded arrow heads on the end of an arrow."Can I use my own bow?"LOL😆😆😆😆😆😆 unless your bow is specifically made with archery tag in mind that could possibly end up hurting like hell.

+Tyler E I think they are 25 pound or 30. They aren't very powerful, just strong enough to projectthe arrow to hit a target rather than to drive through.

It looks fun but its not as realistic as airsoft, still id prefer my kid to do this then play against 18 year olds that know what they're doing with an arisoft gun

Even airsoft is veeeeeeeeeery unrealistic. Best to not think about realism and just think of it as a what it is: a game.
