Have you seen a link deck in master duel? I can't even remember their starting monster after 5 minutes of them linking and resummoning monsters over and over again just so that I can Sphere Mode their field.

They make up an engine that can make some decent rank 4 xyz plays, though using almost only the Familiar Posessed and the evolved familiars.

vidmanandrew09 that's because contrary to popular belief all Madolche monsters are dolls or plushies which are used as cake toppings. They are not edible desserts. You can see that all of the cards have sewings seems at their limbs. Their trap Madolche Nights shows that as well in it's artwork, where all the Madolche monsters are displayed as toys in a room. This is also why they have the "Shuffle Effect" that Rata mentions. As candles in top of your birthday cake most usually are stored somewhere and used next year again, the Madolche Monsters also don't get thrown away but stored in your deck after they are used, only to be reused again.

Black Frost I hate snobs who play Zoodiac and SPYRALs. Play literally any other deck. On the semi-copetitive field, I like True Dracos, True King Dinos (myself), Blue Eyes, Toad Dinos, and ABCs. those poeple are pretty cool.

I think it's because we don't really... give a shit about the meta? When you think of competitiveness you don't really think of Madolche despite the fact that there's great potential in them. We don't really care about winning, we just want the satisfaction of getting Leviair, Tiaramisu, two Madolche monsters back and two opponent cards sent back into their hand with just Anjelly and Mewfeiulle in one turn. It's just fun.

ok so there was a tumblr post going around a few (years?) prior to when this video was posted, with a gif of a bird like sticking its head in a chocolate fountain. Is that a why for Dark Magicians (which I would get because they are way too good and recent enough to be considered bad enough or dated enough for a review) or is it for Charmers because that’s more debatable. They are older and never generated enough support to get even close to casual play and they do border worthless territory, they did have enough fans (including me) to generate both the somewhat half assed Catalyst Charmer series, the “boss” monsters of Familiar Possessed (I put it like that because it’s not very good because you need to have Unpossessed), The definitely half assed and incomplete Familiars and a horribly slow continuous trap, Unpossessed which the deck can’t search but is considered a three off because it gives the Charmers protection and the FPs some beatsticks stats and let’s not forgot the Elemental Art cards which might as well be generic type support. These cards sure won’t be getting support anytime soon but I think it wouldn’t be worth reviewing them now because something tells me that Konami will finally pull their head out of their ass soon enough and finally make this archetype playable enough for casual play but how they do it is far beyond me because this deck needs a reflipper outside of Book Of Moon, a searcher, a type changer outside of DNA Surgery and something that would make them better beatsticks outside of hoping that they can snatch a boss monster and fucking Unpossessed which can go die in a hole for being a overloaded yet utterly pointless Support. But hey, if they made A Cell Combination Device And Amazoness Call, surely they should be able to make a good searcher at least.

The Nightcorien Geek here's how konami is being right now. Giving link monsters to archetypes that dont need them and giving support to archetypes that are already good by themselves or mixed. There's a small part of me hoping that charmers get a link monster (even a generic one like lightsworns) and that will give them attention to get support somehow. I do like charmers but its one of those archetypes you wished they got as much live as the popular ones

Well to be perfectly honest, those Ritual Beasts did need that support card but yeah, they need more support. I been collecting Charmer cards and storing them in my card art folder not because I love their art and playstyle but they have so much lore promised. If Konami is so obsessed with making archetypes that connect to each other, Charmers is a walking case of this. There are stuff like Wynn The Wind Charmer, being connected to Gustos which connects into Duel Terminal because it’s pretty much Winda, Eria The Water Charmer has her Familiar being Jiyo-Byte (I think that’s the lowest version of the card) which was a 5 card story piece (I want to say 5 because they is a XYZ Card in there with the original 4 being normal monsters) which also tries into other places due to card art and my favourite one, FP Dharc and FP Lyna having connected card art and hinted connection because when you put them side to side (Dharc on the left and Lyna on the right), the once out of place chain and lightning bolt on each card now makes sense as it connects them together plus they do quite clearly share the same background. This archetype has so much lore potiential and it might not being during this life it would be expanded as a lore based archetype because they couldn’t fit into the World Lore (that’s what I want to say it is), they could easily fit into Duel Terminal due to the Wynn connection or be part of a new set of lore based cards. Tbh, I can see them being a sort of Ally Of Justice crossed Nekroz set of cards within the lore because the FP theme could suggest a idea of using the Familiars to boost themselves, like how Nekroz harnessed the life fibre of old Duel Terminal Cards to make them more powerful, and then using it to fight evil like Ally Of Justice did but probably in a less shitty way. EDIT: I just remembered that Winda becomes a Ritual Beast Tamer who then becomes a Zefra which pretty much summed up the Duel Terminal lore so I guess we can’t carry on with the Duel Terminal lore.

And I was talking about the possible video happening and not the idea of new support because the last time they got support, we got the last Familiar Possessed And Unpossessed which is unsearchable and inconsistent but is required because it protects your Charmers and makes Familiar-Possessed somewhat decent beaters and I don’t see how they are going to fix this Archetype without reverse fucking engineering this shit unless they pull a Amazoness Call out of their ass and make a three off search and consistentancy booster.

This is Konami's habit, wasting beautiful artwork on crappy cards. Take for instance Ventriloquist Clara & Rushka, Backup Operator or Dark Scheme (and even the charmers, to take Rank10's example). In the other hand, they tend to give the most useful / cool effects to monsters which look like a bunch of polygons melted together, like Clear Wing Synchro Dragon or Chaos Antient Gear Giant.

I don't think that the card is really bad.

@@bins5186 Yeah, I can't count how many times that card had saved me in a lot of duels, as some archetypes tend to be monster effect heavy. I'd argue that Tea Party is more worthless.
