Talk about his facial expressions. In the episode where Mike and Gloria chose their friend over Archie and Edith to be Joey's guardian should they (Mike and Gloria) die before Joey became an adult, Archie bought Joey a toy machine gun for a present. My mother is 100% Polish, so one of the security guards at the hospital where I work found this out - he would tell me Polish jokes. Most were very funny. I remember only a few. My mother maiden name wasn’t the same as other relatives in Poland because her paternal grandfather’s name was changed on Ellis Island, they shortened it.
@melissastewart98428 ай бұрын
My mother, who has Polish heritage on both sides of her family, grew up very poor in a tiny town in rural Texas. She told me how her family endured slurs regarding their ethnicity (now, this same town celebrates "Polish Day"). Thus, this "All in the Family" episode reflects her personal experiences. It's tragic that we don't have television shows like this any longer that make us laugh, stop, think, reflect, and communicate.

He could laugh about it with friends (we are Mexican) but when it comes from strangers, too many times they mean it in hate. Sorry to see the US in the situation they are in. The conservatives have struck fear into so many people about losing their identity. Most already have. How many Italian surnames only have 15% Italian blood.
