The MB E63S has cylinder-deactivation, if the power is not needed, the engine runs automatically on 4 cylider. A indicator in the dashboard shows than a 4. The system is pretty developed, the driver does not notice the cylinder activation/deactivation. This provides a modest fuel consumption for a V8.

I'm complaining about the Regular petrol you put in. It is not for performance. It combusts at a different temperture and pressure than higher octane. If your engline is not designed to take lower octane than can cause pinging noise in engine because it combusts before the stroke is complete. I would not suggest doing that. Read your manual. could void warrenty on certain engine parts.

@@ag.swcarsmy friend whos got a few cars bmw x4m competition 2022. Amg a45s 2022. Mercedes c63s 2022. Mercedes gt 2022. Range rover sport 2023. Tesla model 3 performance 2023 and is still waiting for delivery of his 2023 ferrari f8. He had a 2022 e63s from brand new and wrote it off at exactly 857 mile. As you can tell yes hes a millionaire. Owns a few property and businesses. Does very well in life. When i visit his house and i get past the gate entrance. Its like a car show all his cars parked. Hence i see him always at least twice a week. I pull up in my 2016 seat leon and i can't believe it. I never asked him for 0 either and i dont want nothing. Im so happy for what hes done and i push him to keep going. Really good guy. Down to earth. Humble. Id still be his mate if he had nothing. Probably why he lets me see him at least twice a week still. Only genuine mate someone his net worth has. And hes told me that.

Great video, but should have put Premium fuel in. If you think regular was good on fuel economy, Premium would have been even better!

I might fuel up and see what the older gen is like as a comparison on mileage. strangely enough I have Eagles too, (just not the supersport). Not my fave E Class tbh, the interior dashboard area is devoid of form and terrible. the fuel pump says 54.2L brim to brim and 353 miles so that's about 29.6 to the gallon, nice to see the trip computer is accurate.

Bro, You’re deluded if you think making your car stage 2 tune is gonna also make it more fuel efficient. I’ve got a BMW M5 and it’s got a tune of about 800hp and the fuel efficiency definitely DIDN’T get better with it

Mercedes has said the V8 will be back, so the 2.0 inline 4, in the 63s will be an option. Unfortunately a new E63 is 290.000£ (not counting options!) where I live. A Tesla Plaid is a bargain at 140.000£

E10 is actually pretty good lol, bump it to E30 and get that 11-12* ignition timing out of it

Always run mine (pictured) on E5. Apparently, in the event of engine issues (unlikely as that is), the first thing the dealers are told to do is check what’s in the tank. MB will use any opportunity to blame the driver!

No it’s not leased, it’s financed. Still technically not the legal owner as it’s the lender that owns the vehicle

I always say to people that my E class 2018 does 70mpg, they laugh and it’s true that the Mercedes’ cars obviously are best or nothing but people don’t give credit enough and they are still underrated. No any car in the world can compete without Mercedes’ even the lowest model !!!!❤❤❤
