Rickles nonstop comedy, Craig very talented himself wisely backing down to allow Rickles to be the Icon he is. Never see any comedic talent like him again

THIS IS AMAZING ! Don really loves Craig and they get along famously. Craig even got Don laughing a few times. This really put a smile on my face because Don always outshines anyone else in the room but here its ALMOST an even match! And Don loves it.

It's because they were friends, the same as with Don was with Carson or Letterman. The friendship came across. I always got the feeling that Don didn't care for Leno. He probably genuinely had no idea who Fallon even was.

I totally agree, who else could get away with his major human insults on anyone! No person of any nationality, language, or skin color was exempt! I dont know of any comedian today that’s. Good enough to pull that off! He was of Jewish heritage and seen himself equal with all people! And his insults on all people’s could not be found to be racist!

I just commented on another video saying that was one of my favorite parts about his act 😂 his fillers are hilarious. I love when he would say "anyway, gang" or "I tell you this, gang"

Watched a lot of Don courtesy of d'youtube. The amount of times Craig tried to stop him making a joke here because of where he was going with it -- things have changed big time. Even in 2010 there was fear of insulting and outraging people -- but the man kept going! Class.

To be honest I enjoy the chemistry with Furgeson even more. More charisma and confidence to me. He adds to the show more to me. Don always dominated Carson but I do understand the importance of what they did together making early talk show history!!
