Located in the Mediterranean area of Bonaire, near the coast, is CRX, a newly built house, which stands out for the mimicry of the natural materials that make it up.
Its heart is made of concrete, its arteries of oak wood and its veins are rocky.
The interior floor is monopolized by a fine and irregular, rough concrete surface, which is finished vertically with walls and hidden carpentry made of textured French oak.
The rest of the vertical white cladding accompany the remarkable naked concrete structural elements.
The house has two floors united by an uncoated helical staircase, vertically paired with a spherical LED lamp anchored by gravity.
The lighting is based on millimeter profiles inside and outside the house, penetrating the concrete like precise surgical incisions.

Beautiful. Are the moving clouds and shadows across the wall done with a time lapse or just sped up in post? See you have to come out with your course. Thank you.

Thanks Alan! The wall ones were just regular videos as there wasn’t much jerky motion but the clouds ones were time-lapses. You’re right we should have released the course already but I have (Arturo) just moved to the US and it’s been a mess for me in the last few months/year. Q1 2023

I wish we filmed one there but it was such a hard job as the weather was so unstable and we had to go so many times:-/
