devaschloe I think Kylie gets a lot of shit for what she has done. Sure she has money and influence but there are thousands of influencers who have tried to start makeup companies and FAILED despite having those things on their side. It is extremely difficult to make an empire and she did it all before the age of 21. That takes a HUGE amount of effort, dedication, and passion. Her sister Kim, who is way more famous, has her own makeup company that hasn’t even come close to touching the tails of what Kylie has created. She completely changed the industry with her lip kits. You can see simply by looking at the amount of companies that came out with some sort of alternative or copy of her product in the years following her launch. Any kid of rich parents could retire at 18 and do nothing for the rest of their life. She made an empire of her own.

Stephanie Schwartz Well said, while yes she was given a platform to begin with - she has exceeded herself and has done so in such fast pace - that’s not something anyone can take away from her. Also look at the siblings- or even Kanye who has been in the entertainment/ business industry for a long time, he’s had he’s clothing line and yeeze’s which are loved by many - yet he’s not a billionaire so to say shes been born with a silver spoon 🥄 is true but look at the results of her WORK. Also Paris Hilton, what hasn’t she tried and she’s a millionaire - not taking any of her achievements from her- but she’s not as yet a billionaire and you’d think by having a wealthy family and being in the spot light it would magically happen- but hasn’t as yet! As women we should applaud her, and work hard so that our children can have a positive role model in their lives! Ps- my son overheard my mum and I discussing her the other day and said “one day I want to be a big successful billionaire and have my own business” - he’s only 6, but I applaud that ambition🤞🏼 long may it continue!

There have been thousands of complaints about Kylie's lack of quality control and refusal for refunds for empty lip containers, bent dried out lip brushes and more. The BBB had downgraded her company until Kris Jenner stepped in, and now their rating is "under review." Plus Kylie doesn't have a billion dollars. That value is based on "value" of her makeup company, and it is less than a billion and could hit bottom any time. The media & Kriss Jenner has turned Kylie Jenner into a rich billionaire star when it's not nearly true. Got to give credit to Kris for making "something out of nothing," or "something out of a sex tape." Credit where credit is due.

She was in her 40's when she started managing her husband's career and opened a clothing store with her daughters, in her 50's she started managing her kid's career and made an empire, no in her 60's she's still working hard

Managing her husband's career. You mean her husband gave her a job. Her husband didn't need a manager. He was a Lawyer at the Level of Johnny Cochran. Johnny Cochran was known all over the world as a Defender of True Social Justice! I think it is important to recognize this woman is not a woman who began to enterprise with Zero and I mean Zero. This woman opened Dash as a Wealthy and prominent woman . she was very close friends with OJSimpsons wife prior to her death. These were very wealthy people. Thank You.

I love this interview. Maria Shriver really pushed Kris to break down, in brass tacks, their journey and her thought process from day one. Thats pretty cool. You never hear of those first small steps and efforts. Its obvious that Kris is a Momager, but I think initially she was highly motivated by protecting her family. She, unapolljeticaly, made lemonade out of lemons. Never underestimate the lengths a parent will go to to protect and provide for their family.

I get emotionally attached to my son in laws also. When my daughter went through divorce I was devastated because he felt like my son and my family was breaking up. It's my favorite interview at the moment. Learned so much from Kris today, I love how positive she is about things and how graciously she treats people no matter who in front of her. As a mother , manager and producer she still makes things for her own happiness and I respect it so much. I think she really mastered the balance between acceptance of things that cannot be controlled and hard work inspired by great ambitions. Personally, I found doing this rather hard that's why I'm so thankful to learn from the spectacular woman that Kris is.

There's no telling how much money Bruce really had left when he meet Kris; so it seems Kris was concerned. I commend her for stepping up to the plate and making it happen. Well I think she's right that everybody has their own opinions about how she does things and feeling that they are too this or too that. From my perspective, I think their lifestyle is very materialistic. And yet, when I tuned into the show, which I don't normally, I have to admit that what I come away with is a sense of family love and unity, which is very admirable. So it's a mixed bag of self promotion and certain values that may not be considered optimal combined with others that are indeed quite positive. I think that regardless of whether one agrees with them or not there are still things that one can take away from the show and learn from. Just like this interview.....

After reading some of the comments I want to also say that kris Jenner is fabulous at the hustle and entrepreneurial and creative on the way she thinks. The way she reinvented herself to ensure she could provide for her family is wonderful and inspiring. Kris proves you do to need a business degree to be entrepreneurial. All women need good role models in other women who are fearless and have courage (without being a catty or mean girls) and who can achieve it in the entrepreneurial world and still maintain being feminine yet strong, show kindness and not be afraid to have a bit of fun and be flexible and not afraid to make changes when you need to in life. I think kris Jenner is this type of woman - she deserves more recognition. I find her really inspiring.

Ok. Listening to Kris Jenner talk is such a mood coz she talks so well and articulate well and she talk smoothly. I feel like im listening to a podcast. And if she ever have a podcast about business, fame, family or management. Im gonna listen.

I always thought she was a great mom in so many ways, now we see... she is great daughter, hard working, great attention to detail, such a hard worker. People speak badly of her, but I just liked her. She is a good mom & made Bruce look successful when it is obvious he wasn’t who marries a woman with children with $200 dollars in their account, he married her to get somewhere & live off of her. He was always so jealous of her on the show putting her down...

Kris Jenner is the brains behind this business, and their children have learnt a lot from their parents on how to manufactured growth. She has helped her children develop an entrepreneur mindset. She is the brains behind the most of her children’s businesses and deserves more recognition. Kris is always kind and polite and does not act like a Prima Donna- kris is very balanced with feet firmly planted on the ground- kris is an inspiring woman.

Kris is a genius and Maria didn't do a good job interviewing her! She came off as someone who was projecting her own insecurities, "But how did you do it?". She couldn't fathom the ambition Kris had how she made it all happen.

She was never broke. She had an inheritance and child support at first for 4 kids. Just not the lifestyle she had. She started in the middle not at the bottom

The trump question was not exactly relevant. He chose to take advantage of his fame and bring it into politics, just like the Kardashian’s can CHOOSE to become politically involved using their fame as a push. Kris is such a great speaker! 👍🏽
