The first hack is great, I’ve also used a picture frame. I went and bought a 36x24” picture frame from Michaels on sale under $10 and removed the poster. Then I just taped blocks along the perimeter and use my phone or tablet flashlight below it. I can set it up on the table and trace larger images. Also have a smaller one for smaller images

You really deserve more views and subscribers for the effort you put in.

Another way I use a use a tape which is transparent and then cover it with the Ruler and it will be Durable and you will have a nice clean paper after you finish your drawing with it.

Never thought of the furniture thingys to sketch a quick floorplan with an scale, its actually pretty uselful!!. Gonna use that one, i thing I could probably take them to the laser cutter that way I could use mdf.

I don't need the last hack because when I was a wee little kid, my father scolded me badly because I couldn't draw the answer lines for subtraction without a ruler. 2 +2 _ _ < THESE LINES. And so, I trained hard to draw those lines and that's how I ended up in architecture school. This is my villian origin story.

if you have black smudges on your paper from your ruler, you could just take a clear tape and tape numbers on your ruler or you could also take a clear nail polish and paint numbers on your ruler...

There is an easier way for the first hack! It's an app called DaVinci Eye and it shows the picture on your phone or tablet. You can trace it through your camera. (It's kinda hard to explain) But you don't need to print anything out and you can also draw in layers and zoom in. Yeah just try it, it's free

More autocad tips and hacks please

Heres some of my forbidden techniques to share to y’al 1. Use a picture frame to bakat bakat something, syempre guys tangalin nyu picture and tira nyu yung glass then put block of books to be its feet tapos lagyan nyu flashlight ng phone ibaba 2. Similar to his technique in making tons of plate, yung butas butas, put a clear or New paper underneath sa pagbabakatan nyu na image then every point nun and enge tusikin nyu ng point ng compass or pen, then pagkatapos connect the dots lang 3. Mag pasipsip ka sa prof nyu 4. Use your desktop monitor para mag bakat, adjust lang yung angle ng neck, then if using tablet, ilagay nyu yung glass ng picture frame so stable sya 5. Mag pasipsip ka ulit sa porf nyu kaso ibang level namn(if you know what i mean) 6. Use skatch tape to remove some ink stain sa plate mo or other mistakes like misspelled word and forgetting to put some door and window in floor plan. Tap tap nyu lang yung sticky part ng tape sa error nyu until na mawala na yung stain, it takes time but atlis di halata ang erasure 7. Wala na ubos na

Using eraser on your instruments can be bad. If any residue gets stuck there (and trust me this happens with good erasers too) it will soften the print which can eventually chip. So if youre planning to store them, it's better to use alcohol with tissue/cotton balls.
