im a complete novice and this vid helped. im glad we can see the mouse and keyboard input on the side, as i looked at those when i was getting confused on how to navigate the software. i rly hope u will upload another part going from where this one left off, as the rendering and texturing part is not rly working for me T_T thnx for uploading!

I am having an issue when ever i try to extrude on the Z axis. It doesn't make new walls, just to tops and bottoms of the plane.

This way you don't have all walls with the same thickness right ? because it depends on how you have extruded the vertices on the steps before which you'll necer do that precisely

using a dxf is much easier if the dxf file is clean. walls can be made in a couple of clicks.

True, with a clean and simplified drawing you can extrude walls with 2 clicks.

archipack i think is more rich with elements, drawing system, walls, etc but it's paid now.
