28:00 Le Village Royal sculptures by Julien Marinetti ( French bulldog , teddy bear etc ) , saw same sculpture in one of the malls in Singapore Julien Marinetti , French b.1967 , is a pop art-influenced sculptor famous for his “Doggy Johns” sculptures: an ongoing series of French bulldogs cast in bronze and finished with industrial lacquer. Marinetti describes these sculptures as three-dimensional canvases.

Am I right that one of those beautiful fountains in the Place de la Concorde was featured in the famous ballet sequence in the movie "An American in Paris"? Gene Kelly choregraphed the dance and performed it with Leslie Caron.

I loved it The umbrellas were suspended at Le Village Royal. Will they be doing that again?

Thanks for commenting. That was a one-time installation so it probably won’t happen again in that area. But the artist installs her umbrellas in various cities.

Great vid. Sadly, I know too well about the American Embassy.... as my brother had his wallet and passport stolen on the metro... so we spend time at the Embassy getting him a temp passport so we could return home. (He learned a hard and expensive lession)! And, yes, the security there is VERY strict!
