This video is as moving now as it was in 1995! I'm so glad you weren't hurt! The whale obviously loves you and knows that you love her! Thanks so much for sharing and for all that you do for these gorgeous animals! This is truly AMAZING! We've seen many shows, but this was the best!

@@KYRA_FX Ill respond three years after your reply, but he means that because he/she thinks the whale wasn't pissed or stressed like with Ken Peters and Kasatka. We all know that the orcas aren't healthy in terms of mood and personality. When orcas get stressed or pissed at the trainers, that's when the attack happens.

Hello Jeffrey. Thank you so much for this footage and for all your work on behalf on captive orcas. I was wondering if you could speak about your experience working with Gudrun and with Kalina? How were they with waterwork and what was your relationship with them? Also, I read that when Kalina came back to Orlando in 1994, her relationship with Katina deteriorated considerably - was that true? Seaworld's animal profile of Kalina mentioned that Katina "displaced" Kalina and I don't really know what that means.

You are so lucky to of had these amazing experiences that you have had I have seen this video a few times and still find it captivating each time! I love killer whales and it was once my dream to be a whale trainer not so much anymore though as I do not agree with captivity. I am aware of all of your work that you do to raise awareness of whales captivity and admire you and all the other x trainers for it. I hope one day to be able to view/ interact with a killer whale just not in a captive environment keep up the good work :)

They put the fear of God in those guys but who could blame them for wanting to leave? I am anticaptivity but the orcas are magestic& i wouldve struggled to leave also. To say goodbye mustve been hell, i wonder if the orcas grieved them also? It wouldve killed me, I am glad those ex trainers are advocating for those beautiful babies! May they soon feel the ocean waters in a sanctuary, its been done so theres hope. Let them go Seaworld!

+Bad Wolf Ehm, how can you know that? You do know that there are MANY parcs like Seaworld in the world, right? Captives killer whales are not only in America. There is Marineland in France where the killer whales suffered a great deal, you can't even imagine, there is Loro Parque in Spain also, Marineland Canada where the killer whale Kiska lives ALL ALONE since 7 years. There is all the captive killer whales in the Kamogawa Japan, their tank is so tiny it's ridiculous AND, it is right behind the sea! There is all the new parcs in Russia and China, where the killer whales were all captured recently and their tank is under a huge dome, which means, they never see the sunlight and they never will again. So seriously, please, if you wanna talk about Seaworld, that's fine, but don't say that it is the only place where killer whales are suffering because that's not true. Seaworld is actually the best of all the parcs for killer whales, considering the others. Don't be so brainwhashed by the propaganda movie Blackfish, Seaworld isn't the only place in the world, neither is America, godammit.

this is katina, but her and many other sea world orcas have been "shamu" for show purposes

No sé por qué las llaman ballenas asesinas, si son primas de los delfines y los crímenes que se conocen solo han sido estando en cautiverio, cosa que es totalmente comprensible. Las orcas, son hermosos y super inteligentes seres ❤️❤️❤️ el señor Roberto Uges me sorprendió , cuando lo vi en la orilla del mar, como las orcas iban a jugar con el, eso sí es una belleza, porque nadie las obliga. Aunque también me parece riesgoso porque no todos los seres humanos son buenos y si ellas intentan jugar con alguien malo, sería lamentable.

People who agree with this should be locked in there for 24/7 and they should take u away from your family and see how u feel like it !!!!
