Red player chiming in: - The Empath declaration in Act 3 over Warlord at 33:21 was done so Red could get closer to getting city power bonus and to giveWwhite a strong fighting chance against Blue (from their Empath-powered lore card). If Warlord was declared, Red would get their cities back on their board and lose city power bonus while Blue would keep it since (at the time) all their cities were still on the map. - The ambition choices in Act 4 were driven by the thought that the same ambition redeclared would be easier for Blue to go for whereas spreading them out, Blue would need to stop Red from winning multiple viable combinations of 2 or more ambitions for victory (aided by the fact that winning two ambitions with city bonus gives +10 vs +5 for winning one). - There was a tough decision in Act 4 at 55:16 between raiding Blue's lone city or spending an extra movement to fight white in gate 4. Still quite a tossup for me but the dice made more of an impact than which target. The 3 player dynamics were quite brutal and I really felt the penalty of having Material outrage in how slow it was to rebuild my armies. Good learnings to bring to future games though.
