The Arcteryx Squamish Jacket (also available as a hoody) is a lightweight wind jacket that has a durable 30D Tyono material. It packs up small so it is easy to keep in a pack. The two zippered hand pockets are placed nicely and one pocket has an additional zippered pocket that is a great place for keys and an ID.
I used this for bikiing, hiking, and evening strolls. But it would also make a great running shell as well as a nice touring shell in the winter.
