I appreciate every version of it, however i think that the AM version sounds better, due to the accoustic guitar that really suits this track. The TBHC version is slowed down, and that annoys me a bit. The Humbug and Suck it and See versions are pretty similar there isn't much change, it is played as it is on the album. On AM it's spot on i guess, with the backing orchestra and all, make it all together special. I feel they slowed down pretty much every song to suit the style of this new album, while performing on tour, that i guess started around the time of AM or following up to it. I feel that on this new version, the vocals are a bit overdone as well. Nonetheless the Monkeys are the Monkeys. Cheers.

he's mentioned recently in an interview that the new style is something that he feels suits his current voice better and their new style is the direction the band is moving towards. it's a little different, but i kinda like both. they have different vibes behind them to me. Even in TLSP tours the songs have been slowed down (the most significant I noticed was Calm Like You, there was one version where they added nearly a minute but i actually liked that track slowed down a lot!)

@@stephaniesantos78 I do like the new style. And I've seen that progression through the years. However now, sometimes I feel he overdoes it in certain parts you know. But the new persona is so so funny xD. He's not shy, and that is actually entertaining. Sometimes he starts to improvise in the way in which he sings a verse and ends up losing the train of the whole song. But I do love this new style. That's the only thing that I hold against the new singing style. Wish there was another album with Dynamics similar to Humbug. The darkness and the poetry, it had everything. It was so so balanced. I think it was their most accomplished album ever. But thank you, for your statement it went in the same path as my predictions. He couldn't shout all his carrer like in the first and second album x).
