Awesome project! I got it working! Thanks for the helpful comments here. I see there's a rotary encoder in the code. Would be nice to see that implemented.

cool project !! i built it and it works! Thank you ! There is a small mistake in the fritzing, the labeling on the matrix modules is wrong (cs and clk has been swapped), but the wiring is correct! the hourglass runs through in a minute. how and where can i rewrite the scetch to change it to 15 minutes? can someone explain that? thank you!

Delay.h Delay.cpp LedControl.h LedControl.cpp Move them into the same folder as your Hourglass_Project.ino Add each of those 4 files to your hourglass project in the IDE using Sketch -> Add File...
