@Almodou TV: Because, “Some have eyes but they cannot see” Knowledge is power! If Africans do not know the value of what they have, how will they exploit their their mineral resources to add more value to their lives? Other countries are exploiting Africa’s mineral resources because they know the value of these resources.
@SpokenWord4
@SpokenWord4 3 жыл бұрын
When you have a hundred differnt currency how can you make its value greater than the pound, yen or dollar? Who decides what mineral is worth the amount paid. Africa needs to be WaKanda and isolate itself from the colonizer and build, buy and educate Africans on Africa principles. Thats the problem who you going to make an African Chinese or European when they see black skin? Black American are consumers so are blacks around the world. Why?

I mostly agreed with him until the part about “if you put us in front of the white man he sees us as Black so we are Black” which I think is disturbing. Why should be measure our worth and our perception of ourselves by what other races think of us? Do Asians think of themselves as yellow because White people see them as yellow and called them yellow?
@zyberworld
@zyberworld 3 жыл бұрын
@@ameetachi9510 I think you misunderstood and it's all good. The caveat was that all skin-folk ain't kinfolk if you've heard that saying. Instead of attacking each other we need to realize at the end of the day we're all we got. The average Chinese doesn't know Wode Maya the business man. What he sees is the western version of a 'black person' whatever that may be and it's mostly negative. I'm not denying there's our own people in power keeping us down on behalf of WS but we need to be wise and peep game. For example: If an African decides go into debt getting a western education don't be mad or hostile. That's their journey. Educate them and if they still refuse the wisdom so be it. Peace
@ameetachi9510
@ameetachi9510 3 жыл бұрын
@@zyberworld Thanks. I agree that the perception of Black people worldwide are mostly based on the lenses of Western media but the solution is for us to START TELLING OUR OWN STORIES in a more true to life light. Remember it was like that with the Asians in the past too when Western media controlled their narratives as well. The rest of the world saw them from that stereotypical lens but then they took control of their narrative. We know and understand them better not because they accepted those stereotypes but because they showed the world what they are truly about. I think one problem with the Black race is that more often than not we embrace the stereotypes from the White man. The white man says we are gangsters and we make songs glorify gang culture. He says we are all drug heads and look at that all our songs promote drug use. We are the only race that does this. We let the White man control our narrative and then complain that the world sees us from that lens. I guess it circles back to the topic of Africans having an identity crisis. If we knew who we are we wouldn’t be so easily manipulated by other groups.

@@ameetachi9510 It's exhausting and a trip for suure!!! But positive and negative situations both take time to evaluate. I recently watched a clip from Flagrant2 that was very enlightening as it speaks to exactly what you're talking about with the Asian community. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aJmbhdB6xqedl4U.html Warning NSFW lol Basically talked about Asian immigrants and how their big risk/gamble was just getting to America and after that it was just play it safe (get a job as a lawyer, doctor, start a business, promote your culture [Chinatown, 'Chinese' food] etc.). Whereas black Americans were delegated to entertainment. And now we're waking up to true worth and not falling for the traps. Some are too far gone but unfortunately I've realized for a while now you can't save everybody. It's not possible. Some people don't want to be 'saved'. Some people benefit from their own peoples misery (sorry to get so dark haha).

In Nigeria, many Nigerians born in their motherland can’t speak their language. They claim they only speak English and even the English isn’t fantastic. I always find it odd that that is the case. I believe this is also holding some of the people back from moving forward academically. Asians mostly learn (in schools) in their local languages and are some of the brightest brains in the world. They attacked Italy from their village. But in west Africa as soon as they captured Ghana. It is the same Ghanaian that helps them to capture other African. This is problem of Africa. 5 thousands European captured Africa. This make me feel so ashamed, African can never fight for freedom rather they will be speaking big English in front of camera. They want to be like African nationalist that never fight for freedom of Africa. No African ever fight for genuine freedom except Thomas shankara and col odimegwu ojukwu. Independence was given to them freely yet they are not free. It is after 2nd world War that America asks European to leave Africa. But they signed treaty with America that they should allow them to have same influence on their colony. No African fight for freedom.if they fight for freedom why are they not yet freedom. What this young Gambia boy is doing is capitalist on ignorance of African public. When Isreal wants to fight for freedom they fight British with Dynamite, when Vietnam wants to fight for freedom they fought America Gorilla war. When British want to fight for freedom they cut the head of king Charles the first and the place is House of Commons. When France wants to fight for freedom they kill their king. But in Africa they will keep speaking good English like speaking English make you wise. Go to England mad man speak good English. Africa don't have mental toughness to fight for freedom. They always complain, how many times ousman experience attacks from those he is fighting. To them he is noise maker. If African are not ready to fight neocolonialist with weapons and ammunition. They are not ready. Chez cavala went to Congo to fight with them. First thing we need to do is have a reverse Berlin Conference. We need a reverse Berlin Conference. A Burkinabé conference. A Kongo conference. A Haiti conference. we cannot truly advance until we do it. Hit me up on all socials let's just make it happen

I mostly agreed with him until the part about “if you put us in front of the white man he sees us as Black” which I think is disturbing. Why should we measure our worth by what other races think of us? Do Asians think of themselves as yellow because White people see them as yellow and called them yellow?

That young man made a profound statement and well conveyed. Stay and develop Africa and don’t let them know every strategic move that is being made. They are monitoring these social media forums and therefore we cannot expose every move that is being made, and draw attention to ourselves. Let our oppressors wake up one day (sooner rather than later) and realize we are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. Some things are just better left unsaid. Let us play chess not checkers.

🇹🇹 Trinidadian and Tobagonians as well as the Diaspora had to identify with something because Africa is a continent and the people within jealously guard their sovereignty. They did not initially want us to call ourselves African because we did not know which tribe we came from. They are only now slowly warming to the idea and accepting us...

@@thematrix3663 but which region or tribe you know where you from. to identify yourself as just African is broad and to general since there's over 2000s natives cultures in Africa. Africa is a word that came from a Greek guy name Afrikanus so that not even the original word for the people

@@thematrix3663 I'm ayisyen (the ethnic descendants of the original actual founding Haitians )so I understand what you meant .not saying you shouldn't identify yourselves as African descent since that whom you actually are ,but we have to acknowledge that the continent does not has one single culture or ethnic group. I feel that black descendants of slaves should just travel to Africa or the carribean and try to integrate back in the cultures
