I agree that the perception of Black people worldwide are mostly based on the lenses of Western media but the solution is for us to START TELLING OUR OWN STORIES in a more true to life light. Remember it was like that with the Asians in the past too when Western media controlled their narratives as well. The rest of the world saw them from that stereotypical lens but then they took control of their narrative. We know and understand them better not because they accepted those stereotypes but because they showed the world what they are truly about.
