I’m a Christian man and is 32 and never been in a relationship my whole life. I’ve questioned God so many times the same way you ladies do as well. Like what about me? Am I ugly? Or what’s wrong with me? But you guys nailed it with that bible verse in the end with his thoughts are higher and his plans are far greater. I do hope one day God will show me a women of God that will challenge me and that will love me like Jesus does. Thank you ladies for this! This was eye opening that even you beautiful ladies go through this and not just me. Thank you and God bless! 😊

Are you marriage material? Have you developt the capabilities and attitudes of what a man or a husband according to the bible is? See what you are comunicating to women bro, they are interested in a husband so there is a demand! Make sure you are a product that can supply that demand and choose/invite one. Also this is social media, your profile picture and name doesnt suit for this purpose. Big hug from a latino. God bless you

The huge problem in the Christian church today is the over emphasis and attention on relationships at stages where people aren't ready for marriage, this creates problems. Thank God when I got saved at 19, I wasn't at a church were there was a heavy focus on dating but growing in God and having good godly relationships so when I was ready for marriage I started courting my wife - it was great.

This. I was saved at 22 while in the army...but I was also in therapy and teying to learn to deal with my anxiety and how to talk to women. I was still going to clubs and that's where I met her amd rushed in cause she was the first to act like she liked me. Never seemed to attract girls in school so I rushed in.

The most attractive man on planet earth is the Man of God in church…worshipping, praising, and learning about God. And, if he has his Bible open in church and taking notes too…whew, that man is fire. 🙌🏻 🔥 There is nothing “corny” about that. Mature Christian men recognize mature Christian women and vice versa. Our identity is in Christ, thus just continue being your authentic self and keep your heart beating for our King Jesus. And, lastly, just be sure to prepare for what you’re praying and seeking God for. If you’re serious about being married, your lifestyle should be indicative of that. God Bless and may God provide in due time to the godly singles. 🙏🏼🩶 “My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him. “ ~ Psalm 62:5 ((Amen)) 🙌🏻

I will throw something out to everyone who‘s looking for the “perfect, biblical, ready to lead” husband or wife with corresponding adjectives. And I will say that as long as your partner is open to Christ, these things can grow over time. They don’t have to be there day one. I can say with certainty that any marriage will have a ton of difficulty by itself and it WILL grow you and you won’t be ready for all the challenges on day 1 of your marriage anyhow. So don’t be so picky that the person you’re choosing has to be all those things on day one. And all that can go out the window instantly with a sudden illness anyhow and you may have to carry ALL the weight. What’s important is that you agree that when difficulty comes you will work it out together and negotiate and submit to each other and put Christ at the center. The rest will grow over time. And just as a side note, being single is SO much easier than being married. you don’t know how selfish you are until someone else has needs around you when you’re at your lowest yourself. So don’t be so anxious, enjoy being single as much as you can and trust that God’s will is done.

Fellow Christian here! I love this kind of sit down chat set up. I found it so intriguing. I don’t necessarily believe that God will give everyone a spouse. Some might have a desire to have a lamborghini or someone might have a desire to have kids naturally but they can’t (and instead have to adopt) and everyone desires not to get terminally ill but that doesn’t mean we are immune from diseases like cancer etc. I do believe that God will give us the desires of our heart if they are in line with his will.

You made a great point. God is not a genie that grants our every wish. He knows what is best for us. We are not guaranteed to reach all of our life goals or get everything we may desire in this life....The point is to love and serve God despite whether you get those things you want or not...because some of the things we want can harm us in the long run...I learned a long time ago sometimes the answer to that prayer can be a NO

The fact that they are talking bout this is kinda sad. The media treat Christian men as squares and women today buy into this. They also struggle with contentment and get into relationships with insane expectations. These same relationships don’t end up lasting. If u want to be a good spouse stop having frivolous convos about a man being “corny” and instead focus on what makes a good Christian wife. How can you respect a husband be grounded and weather the storm in ups and downs of marriage. Learn what contentment is and how to remain content even with little means. Learn endurance and patience. These are qualities more and more Christian women and women in today’s climate lack. Focus on that instead.

Christian men have the same stigma on Christian women. That all godly girls aren’t bad and all bad girls aren’t godly. I believe this is from the enemy and not true. It’s a matter of exposure. The truth is when you a stereotypical “attractive” person you deal with more temptations and access which makes being godly more difficult. So thus categorically there are less attractive Christians because it’s difficult to have it and deny it for Jesus! But it’s so worth it. But it’s on both sides

I don’t know, not really biblical or logical and I personally would hope the man I meet goes to church and understands its importance. Yes the people are the church but the bible also says do not forsake rhetoric gathering of believers and when you look at the disciples days and first century Christians and following on, you get a picture that church was important. Of course it has to be a word based Spirit filled church. I hope to hear your thinking on this.

growing in love as opposed to falling in love. So many missed opportunities by individuals because their hearts did not align with God's desires...but the right person is already in their life. Now it is even harder , if your heart's desires are not in the right place, as Jezebels and Delilahs are all over the church, intended to delay your journey, and send you off into the wilderness. Just as the israelites have to go Conquer the land that God has intended for them.....due to their disobedience, they never got it. So yes....even if God intended it for you, You YOURSELF can screw it up.

I keep telling myself "God I'm content with Just you even if I don't have a partner but I do pray for one, and I'll use this time of singleness to grow and prepare myself in ur word, pls help me." I’m about to go in are y’all ready? If not just skip this comment lol. 3:36 lol just, no. That’s why y’all are single. I understand what you people are saying, and you’re not really talking about preferences so much that you’re talking about attraction. Yes, you should be attracted to your spouse, but if you find a good man that loves Jesus, that isn’t “corny”, then go for it dude. If not, then you honestly have no reason to complain. God provided; it’s just not what you thought it would be. There’s no need to over analyze this. Do you know who God wants you to marry? The Christian man that you end up marrying. There’s desires you’re going to be killing for the rest of your life. You never stop dying to self. Even the desire to have a “not corny” husband. If it’s not one thing, it’s another. I’m not saying to just jump into marriage because of desperation. Absolutely not. Do nothing out of fear. Just recognize that things don’t always look the way you want em to. Find a good Christian dude and marry him. It’s not that complicated. God gives gifts of romantic love and pleasure and that’s great, but all these things point to Him. To a greater pleasure and love that fulfills. Marriage isn’t even about the marriage. It’s about God and His glory and how He loves us. P.S “praying for my husband” is peak Christian cornball btw so pot meet kettle. It’s especially corny for people that don’t end up married. It’s not bad to pray for a future husband, but to assume that you will be married and you’re praying for the man that God is “preparing”. Come on now 🤔 P.S.S the only single girls in here are single because they won’t humble themselves. No reason y’all should be single 😂

We have got to let go of the word Corny, Often since a Christian is just a person who was once in the world it should make sense that they were someone before giving themselves to christ. No somehow that gives them the auto title of corny? For probably showing discipline?

I am a married man to a CHRISTian wife. We have a marriage centered on JESUS. We raise our kids that way and I work and she manages the household. If you value a 6'04 guy (probably is mentally fragile and emotionally also, because he has been told how great he is since he was a child, doesn't face adversity until he is an adult (look at shaq if 1 person criticizes him, he breaks down over it - he is a well known example) that person should be lower on a husband scale) if you value things the world tells you to, you act as the world. Also dating, where does the Bible mention dating??? Really it talks about marriage. If a women dates a guy for greater than 4 months, move on to the next guy and the same for the guy.

Young men keep your eyes in the scriptures. Listen with both ears. Both eyes open. Just the title of this video should speak to your spirit. I hear a lot of worldly “I want” and “I asked god to give me a wink” and I also hear the culture of the world. 2nd Corinthians 11:14 You are in the middle of a spiritual war for your soul and the battle is hot

I can tell you that just because you have a desire in your heart does Not necessarily mean that God has planted it there (does it say this in the Bible?) because there are many godly women who have desired children and husbands and who got neither in the end. I am not saying this to dash hopes but the Bible says that Hope deferred makes the heart sick. So don’t convince yourself that all your desires will be met because some may not be from God. Keep asking Him & listen to him intently to know for sure.. We sometimes ask God to align our desires with His as our desires aren’t always what He has planned for us. I want to see this backed up by Scripture if possible please? We have a heart’s desire to be healed from sickness & disease but it doesn’t always happen. I believe that God planting Certain desires in our hearts for Him to make those things happen - is more of a human opinion not actually biblical. Please by all means correct me if I’m wrong? I also had dreams about marriage & I believe it was from God but I also try to make sure I don’t pin all my hopes into this dream because ultimately I just want a heart that desires whatever God desires for me - it’s not always easy but I pray through it
@EdenAwaits

Hi! Absolutely. If you play it back to 4:15, the scripture Ashley is referring to is Psalm 37:4-5 which says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; Trust in Him also and He will do it." We definitely have the same mindset on this. If the truest desire of our hearts is God, all other desires will fall in line. He will change our desires to align with His will. Like you said, it's not always easy and praying is the best way to get through it!

For me, all perfect gift comes from above. There is a marriage made in heaven. To me I would seek that kind of marriage. There are only two things I'm looking for a spouse. A woman after God's own heart and a woman who knows God and knows herself who she is to God. Which means a woman who puts God first, His truth, His word above else in her life, who puts Jesus above all even her future husband. As Jesus said "love you neighbor as you love yourself," if Jesus commands his children to love even our enemies, how much more how we treat our future spouse. Our spouse could never be our enemy, right? So that means how you want to see yourself before God so as our desire to our future spouse to be with and in God too. So I would like to be with a woman who loves the spiritual more than the cosmetics, material things. A woman who looks her life in above not on things of earth. I hate divorce.
